Chapter 7

Kylie POV

The whole rest of the week was something out of a fairytale. Jared and I couldn't keep our hands off of each other. I think Jensen was catching on, but he didn't say anything. I appreciated that. Tonight was our first date, and I couldn't be more excited. I was looking forward to the night, and spending some time with Jared. Working was nice, but we didn't always have time to spend with each other.

I was standing in my room, wrapped in a towel, looking for an outfit. Jared had told me that I needed to look nice, but I couldn't find anything. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I asked.

"It's Danneel and JJ. Can we come in?"

"Sure!"

They both came in, JJ in Danneel's arms, and Danneel smiled at me. "Outfit troubles?"

"How could you tell?" I asked sarcastically.

She laughed and walked over to my closet, placing JJ on the bed and letting her crawl around. She found a hanger with a dress that I hadn't worn for years. It hadn't fit me in forever, but maybe this time it would. It was all black, tight, and pink on the inside. It was short on me, but I think it was cute, and appropriate for the evening. Danneel pulled out some heels from my closet. They had a big blocky heel, with a platform. They made my feet hurt, but I think they added to the look, and made me taller. I needed to add some height because Jared was so tall. I got dressed and Danneel had me sit on the bed so she could do my makeup.

She finished it and then made me stand up to do my hair. She straightened my hair and I smiled. My hair hadn't been straight in so long. She put my shoes on for me, and I felt like a princess. I stood up, and took a deep breath. I opened the door and headed to go and meet Jared in the foyer. I walked over and he lifted his head and he gasped. Jensen was standing next to him and his eyes widened too. I could see Danneel send him a look, and I chuckled.

Jared grabbed my hand, and said, "We are leaving you here, if you want to leave, please lock up," to Jensen and Danneel, and we were on our way. We left the house, hopped into his car and drove for a while. Finally we came to a stop and Jared made me close my eyes. I laughed, but followed through. When I opened them, my jaw fell open and I could feel tears falling down my face. We ended up in some forest, but all around us were twinkly lights, and they lit up the space beautifully. Then there was a small table, meant only for two people, with a white tablecloth on it.

While I was taking in the space, Jared was smiling at me. I looked over at him and I grinned. "You like?"

"Like, no, I love. Jared this is beautiful."


He smiled and we sat down. Throughout the date, I found myself just falling. Falling for him, for his soul. I think we were soul mates and I was so happy to have found mine. He was the perfect guy and I think god wanted us to be together, and that's why he made me wait so long to find love. I was so deeply in love with him that I couldn't even express it in words. I guess I was staring off into space because I could hear snapping from Jared and when I came out of it, he was looking at me, eyebrows wrinkled. "Sorry, I was lost in thought."

"I could tell. Anything interesting going on in there?" He questioned.

"Oh, no. I was just thinking about you and how lucky I am to have you and everyone up here. You all are more of a family to me in a few days than my actual family ever was."

"Well, I am lucky to have you too. You ready to head home?"

"Yeah. I want to lay in bed with you."

Jared gave me a suspicious look and I smiled. We both got up and headed over to the car and made our way home. We got to the front door and Jared whispered, "I don't know if Jensen and Danneel are still here, so lets be quiet." I nodded. The door was unlocked which meant that Jensen and Danneel were still here, and when we got in the house, they were on the couch asleep, with JJ on Jensen's chest. I silently awwed, and looked at Jared. He motioned toward the bedroom and we headed there without a second thought.

I headed into my room, and change into PJ's, which was a large t-shirt and underwear, and then headed to Jared's room to find him in the bathroom. He was washing his hands, and he was wearing sweatpants and no shirt. I caught myself drooling just a little, but I looked away at the last second. He came into the bedroom, and lay on the bed with me. I faced him so we could talk. I wanted to ask him how he felt about sex before marriage and kids, but I didn't want to be the one to bring it up. I was looking at him and he was looking at me, and somehow I feel like he heard my thoughts because he looked me directly in the eye and said, "Let's not worry about stuff like marriage and kids now. I like this how it is." He smiled at me and I returned it. I was the happiest I had ever been and it was all because of Jared.
