Chapter 8

Kylie POV

When the alarm went off on Monday morning, at exactly the same time Jared and I groaned. I laughed and got up to stretch. I looked into Jared's eyes and the world stopped. I needed to find a way to stop the fond in my eyes from showing. I guess being an actress was going to come in handy. He sat up and the covers fell from his chest, showing off his very sexy torso. He started laughing and I assumed he was laughing at me. We did that a lot, me more than him because he was always being ridiculous. I woke up this morning with a little pep in my step, because every morning here was something amazing. No matter the hour or the conditions I was so happy to be there, with people I loved and people who loved me.

This week was going to be especially fun because this Friday after work, we were flying directly to some Supernatural Con. I forgot what city it was in, but I was excited. My episodes haven't aired yet, but Jared coerced me into going because he didn't want me to be alone. Plus, he wanted me to see the craziness of the Cons. I told him repeatedly that I had seen videos of Con panels, and that I didn't need to go, but he forced me to. Now that we were only a few days away, I was really excited. I didn't know whether I was going to go onstage with them, but we'll see.

FRIDAY

We just landed in Dallas. Finally. I got to meet a bunch of new people, like Rob, Matt, Rich, Kim, Oscric, and Felicia, who all came to the cons, even though none of them were series regulars. Matt and I had grown close; I think it was because we share a mutual dislike of flying and he was hysterically funny. Then Rob and Rich were amazing. I was in stitches more often then not when they were around, and it was awesome. I was excited to meet Kim, because she was on another show that I liked years before. Osric was wonderful and Felicia was just as I had expected. Of course, Jared, Jensen, Misha, and Mark were with us too, but I didn't need to be reintroduced.

At the end of the week, before we left, Bob and Jeremy told me that I could partake in any of the panels I wanted to, because at the opening ceremonies, they were going to make that announcement. I guess they wanted to try a new strategy. I don't really know, but I have a feeling that Jared and Jensen were somehow involved. As I was thinking about it, I got more and more excited. I had been watching videos online of these cons and they were always incredible, and I always had dreamed of going to one as a fan, but now to go as an actor, wow.

We pulled into the hotel, and we were all immediately dragged to the green room to get ready. All I needed to do was freshen a little, but I was honestly getting too excited to do anything but sit there and grin. I could feel someone plop down next to me, and when I turned to look it was Jensen. "You excited?" he asked.

"Was I being obvious again?"

"Only a little," he laughed, "So I wanted to ask you, have you and Jared made a decision about when or how you are going to tell the fans?"

"Not really, I was just thinking that we could follow the moment, and let things happen. This is my first con as a fan and as an actress. I am honestly just here for the ride."

"Alrighty just wanted to make sure that there was something in place."

"Jared will know if he needs to."

"Okay!" Jensen said with a smile.

He got up and left, and soon, I was alone in the green room. Cliff came in about 20 minutes after Jensen left and said, "We are about to do the opening stuff. You ready?"

"As I'll ever be."

We walked over to the wings, and Rob was on stage doing his thing, which was amazing to watch. Anyways, he started calling names, first Kim, then Rich, then Matt, then Osric, then Felicia, then Mark, then Misha, then Jensen, and then Jared. Jared shot me a reassuring look, and began to speak. "Hey y'all. Firstly we are so happy to be back in Dallas. We love you all so much and we wish we could stay for a little longer. Second order of business is a big thing." There were some screams.

He continued, "Well, we are thrilled to announce that starting in the premiere of the new season, we are going to be introducing a new character. We won't tell you who it is, but the lovely actress is here to introduce herself and she will be milling about the convention." He looked over at me and I smiled and gave him a nod.

"Okay, so with that in mind, can y'all help me give a big Dallas Con welcome to Ms. Kylie Monroe?" With that cue, I walked out on stage to the sounds of screams. I smiled and ran over to Jared and Jensen and wrapped them up in hugs and whispered, "Just so you know, before I met you, I would have been one of them." I pulled away and they both were laughing. I grabbed a spare mic and said, "Hi everyone. As Jared said, I am a new member of the Supernatural cast, and I am so thrilled to be here. Y'all don't really understand, but sooner or later you will. So I will be meandering about the con this weekend and I hope to meet some of you. Thank you!"

After a few more "rituals" were completed, it was finally time to go to sleep, and I couldn't have been more thrilled.
