"Hurry up will ya?" Kai asked speeding up the side of the mountain.

"I'm going a normal speed for hiking, Kai. If we wanna make it to the top we have to be patient." I warned him

"Normal? Since when were we considered normal?" He said stopping on a ledge to take a breather.

"Why did I take you of all people?" I looked up at him

"Who else would engage in a physical activity for fun? huh?" He said sweat beaded on his forehead

"I could've taken Lloyd." i grunted as I pulled my weight on top of another ledge.

"Puh-lease. You don't like it when people are clearly better than you."

"He's not better than me. Is he?" i asked not sure about this information.

Kai laughed "Jealous?"

"No! Lloyd doesn't have my sixteen pack, does he?"

"He might." he said his face face red from all the effort.

"That was gay." 

"Excuse you?" He said completely taken back.

"Nothing!" I said as i swung up to where he was.

"Mhmm?" He said looking at me weirdly.

I was honestly really gay for him no matter what i said or what I told anyone else. The fire ninja had always been appealing to me. He was funny, sarcastic, and pretty hot. (pun intended) The only thing about him that made me think twice about making moves was that he was straight. Whenever there was a girl around he always flirted with her so there was no doubt about that.

Although even if he was bi it wouldn't be me. He was super protective and close to Lloyd that if he were to go for a guy it would probably be him. My jealousy for the blonde increased slightly, but I threw that away. He was my friend and for now so was Kai.

Kai had started to pick up the pace on the hike and was dropping small pebbles on my shoulders. Being the Master of Earth it didn't bother me, but he could get hurt of he kept being this reckless.

"Kai! Slow down you're gonna fall!"

"I am not going to fa-" then he screamed.

Kai had lost his footing and slipped. He held onto a a hand hold with one hand but he was starting to slip.

"Cole!" He yelled for me to help him.

I plunged my hand into the mountain and tried to get the earth to catch him, but that only caused the rock to shake above us.

When it shook Kai fell off the side. He flailed for a moment and I was about to jump in but he seemed to remember his airjitzu training and he twisted midair and flew for a second. He landed safely on a ledge that he could lay on.

He was happy he made it and I was just so happy so see he was okay that neither of us saw the large rock that came down from the top.

"KAI!" I screamed with all my worry and fear.

When it crashed he tried to get out of the way but it seemed to crash on top if him while I  was trying to make my way to where he was.

I landed on the ledge and called out for him. When he didn't answer I thought something had far more horribly wrong than it already was. But he groaned and sat up wincing.

I jumped over the rock and squatted next to him.

"Ow." Was all he said.

"Are you okay?"

"My foots' stuck." He said and u noticed that his ankle and foot had been trapped under the rock.

I used my powers to get it off of him. It looked bad and part of his ankle was cut open.

"We need to clean this." I said.

"We don't have a first aid kit."

I knew I should've picked up that stupid kit! I knew we had to wrap it with a bandage soon or risk infection.

I took my shirt off and used it to wrap the leg wound. when j did this I noticed Kai coughed and looked away. His face was already red from the exercise so I didn't know if I did something or not.

"Can you walk on it?"

"Sure."

I gave him my hand and he took it pulling himself up. He tried to step forward, but he almost fell over again in pain.

"You're not walking on that. "

"How else am I  supposed to get to the bottom?"

I got a fun idea and remembered what Lloyd had said once about making a staircase on the side if a mountain. I did just that and without his permission I picked up Kai bridal style.

"Put me down!" He yelled at me.

"Nope." I said then started to walk down the stairs.

After five minutes of awkward silence he started talking to me.

"Am I that obvious?"

"What?"

"Being kinda gay. Am I really obvious?"

"No, no, no. I...I actually didn't know that until now. "

"But you...back when we were climbing? "

" I was making a joke. "

"Shit." He said his face turning red.

"Its ok."

"Really? "

"Yeah, im gay too."

"Are you serious?"

Yeah...I'm actually kinda gay for..."I said trailing off my cheeks heating up.

He looked at me for a second and damn was he cute. I tried to ignore the feeling and i tried to pretend like i never said anything. But Kai didn't want to drop it.

"Who is it? You can tell me."

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Then don't speak. " he said.

What is he doing? I asked myself.as he sat up in my arms and bravely crashed his lips unto mine. I was surprised atthe first.  This had to be a dream or some mirage created by the heat. But it wasn't.

I kissed him back with passion and he had really warm lips and I enjoyed every second lf it. We pulled away for air.

"Kai?"

"Yeah."

"I think I love you."

"Cole, I don't think I love. I know I do." And with that he kissed me again and I couldn't feel happier.

(My endings are so stupid, sorry. Anyway I am getting to the ZanexReader I promise im just trying to make it sound interesting. Point being I hope you all like this )
