(Hello again my little sparkle ninja's. I think that's what I'll call you, because most authors have a thing they call their reader so why not. Anyway this is the long awaited Greenflame. The next will be Pixane and after that, IDK! This was requested by Cloud9anamates so give her a follow or check out her oneshots book, i like it, so yeah. On with le story

Kai P.O.V

you ever get that feeling that everything in the universe is plotting against you? Well that's how I felt right now.

I was nibbling on a stale piece of bread watching his chest rise and fall.

I watched his eyes flit back and forth in their closed sockets.

Other than that there was nothing else to really watch. The unconscious figure just lay there in silence. He was good a being silent when he listened to me and my problems, but this silence was cold and unwanted.

He didn't smile when I walked in, he didn't blush when I held his hand,  he didn't try to push me away when I tried to help him.

It was so weird seeing him like this. He was usually the one to jump out of situations and be completely fine the next day.

I felt tears burn my eyes once again and I closed my eyes and bit my lip to avoid it.

The weakness.

As the ninja of fire I was fierce and a little insane. I was supposed to be the stronger one.

But I never got to tell him.

I never told Lloyd I loved him.

~Flashback~

"Stop it!Stop it! I CAN'T BREATHE!" Lloyd shrieked as i assaulted him with tickles. The blonde was always ticklish something he was sure he'd grow out of, But he never did. I liked seeing him laugh it was cute and was almost as childish as Jay's, it was perfect. He was perfect.

Not a single hair out of place, or a single freckle that I didn't adore.

The truth of it is I always had a soft spot for the ninja in green, but when I almost lost him to the stupid ghost prince I came unhinged. But everything was fine now so there was nothing to worry about except for making him  happy. 

but some days I wanted more. I blamed it on my raging hormones at first but then I realized that there was more to it than that. This feeling I got was different I made me want to hold him close and breathe in his vanilla scent until i went to sleep, but that would have been too weird so i did the only logical thing...Nothing.

"Hey Lloyd, can I say something?"

"Sure!" He said perking up holding his sides from our previous activity.

"I-" Was all I got out before i was so rudely interrupted by none other than the ghost ninja.

"Hey, guys we got a job to do!" he said frantically trying to put his shoes on.

"It's our day off! Don't the police do anything!"

"They got locked out, they called for backup."

I groaned as I watched Lloyd jump off the couch to go find his uniform.

"i was in the middle of something!" i told the black ninja clenching my fists.

"We'll be back later, you can continue then." Cole said 

"What even in the problem?"

"Someone broke into the police station, (after most units had been deployed) and  held several citizens hostage. She called for a ransom payment, but we don't know who she's talking about."

"What'd she want?"

"All she said was "the one who stole her lover"."

"Women!" I yelled throwing my hands up.

"Ahem." my sister said crossing her arms across her chest while tapping her foot dangerously.

Cole visibly gulped and I was about to say something before Zane herded us both out the front door.

"You!" She said with so much menace it would have scared an Anocondrai. She and Lloyd were rotating around each other, while Jay and Cole were in the back leading the hostages away quickly to Nya and Zane who were waiting for them somewhere.

i know that I broke things off with Skylar because I said I was falling for someone else, and that was slightly uncool, but I didn't think she knew it was Lloyd. Am I that obvious?

"Skylar, you need to calm down. You said you'd never turn into your father!"

" I didn't! He said we were going to last! HE said he loved me! He got my hopes up and became my one and only, then he left! Because i wasn't good enough! Because I wasn't you!" Skylar shrieked

"Who are you talking about?"

"Kai, you imbecile! And If he won't love me, then He won't love you either!" She said then pulled out a gun and aimed at Lloyd.

"Skylar, NO!" I shouted at her jumping from my hiding place.

She turned to me and narrowed her eyes.

"come back for me now?" She asked sweetly as if we were at the mall or something.

"No, are you nuts!?"

"Fine!" She shouted then she shot Lloyd.

The impact of the bullet shocked him and he just stood there for a moment before his green uniform began to turn red. He looked at me with wide eyes and fell over.

"Skylar! YOU BITCH!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?!?!"

I said as I ran over to him and held him while he took ragged breaths holding my hand tightly. He was getting paler by the millisecond. He caressed my cheek softly as if to say "it's okay", but it wasn't if I lost him before i ever told him, i wouldn't survive.

Her eyes twitched and she slid a grenade from her pocket and whispered.

"i love you too much to lose you." Then she pulled the handle out.

Then as Lloyd lost consciousness i whispered "don't leave me"

~Flashback end~

Skylar had not yet recovered form the explosion, but when she did she would be sent away to a mental institution then prison. i didn't regret that at all. What I did regret was saying my last words to him. maybe i would feel better if i had said "I love you" at that moment, but I didn't

I saw his eyes lashes flutter for a second. His fingers moved for less than a second but I caught it. i held his hand and mentally urged him to wake up.

His lips moved just as his perfect emerald eyes blinked open.

"I'm still here." He whispered to me.

( You like? I know that was long, but the ending was beautiful and no one can tell me anything else. Anyways Lots of Love!)
