I enter the room, feeling really good about myself, but as soon as I close the door, that feeling leaves.
There are about 10 people in the room and a camera.
"Hello, umm...Ariana Grande," the man who I assume is the director says.
"Please stand on the yellow tape in front of the camera," he says, pointing to the tape on the floor.
I quickly walk over to the tape and stand on it, facing the camera.
"Great. Now I see you have your script and I'm guessing that you have read over it, so please start at the top, and read the lines of "Cat" and I'll read the part of "Robbie". Oh, and the camera will just record you reading through the scene so we can watch it later."
So I begin reading. Shortly after I start, he stops me.
"That's all we need to hear, thank you."
I clench the script and stare at him with my mouth hanging open.
After about 10 minutes, he says again, "that's all we need, thank you. You may leave now."
I can tell he is slightly annoyed, so I grab my things and start walking towards the door. I heave it open and begin walking out of the building.
I look for my car, but if course, I can't find it. About 5 minutes later I find my car, unlock the door and get in.
Then I let it all go. I begin to cry, and cry, and cry until I can't cry anymore.
As I'm about to get myself together and start the car, my phone rings. I glance at the caller ID and see that it's Frankie. I sigh and answer it.
"Hello?"
"Hi Ariana, it's Frankie"
"Hi Frankie," I say with a sigh.
"Little sis, what's wrong?"
"Oh, nothing. Absolutely nothing."
"Ariana..."
"Fine. I auditioned for this TV show and the director cut me off and made me go before I was done. He hated it, I know he did," I say with a sniffle.
"Oh, Ariana. Don't be so hard on yourself! I'm sure you did fine. Well, I better go. Bye."
"Bye Frankie," I say as I hang up.
Frankie always makes me feel better. So I suck it up and start driving home.
When I'm about half way there, my phone rings again. Now what? I glance at the caller ID and see that it's the casting office. I sigh again and answer it.
"Hello?"
"Yes, hi. Is this Ariana Grande"
"Yes, what is it?"
"The director loved your audition and would like you to come back next week for a call back. Congratulations sweetie."
I am speechless. A call back? He actually liked it! No, loved it! I'm so excited that I almost drive off the side of the road. The woman on the phone clears her throat.
"Oh! Sorry. Yes! I'll be there. Thank you so much! Bye," I say as I hang up.
A call back? I'm so exited! I guess I didn't blow the audition after all.

Hi guys! Wow, it has been forever since I've updated this story! Sorry about that. Well, I actually did update it, but it got deleted for some reason. I'm actually kinda glad it did, because the first time I wrote it, it was really sappy and weird. So, some exciting things have happened since the last time I've updated, you want to know? Ok, so I actually wrote this as a short story for school (not about Ariana though) and our teacher entered it in a contest, and guess who won first?????? Moi! Me! I was so so so happy! I didn't even expect it to happen! So I was going to ditch this story, but I don't think I will now! Ok, so that was pretty long so I think I should stop now. Sorry for all the short chapters. Please vote, comment, and follow me! And let me know what you think! Ok, bye! Love youuu!
