It's been half a week since I've arrived at Gotham and there was never a dull day. The first day I met fish and her umbrella boy, Oswald. That night the Wayne's were murdered in an alley and I finally found out who those two guys were that I bumped into back at fishes club. The one with the stylish hat and the scrubby beard was Harvey. A rather sarcastic fellow or atleast so I've heard. The other person was his partner and as I suspected he was new to the GCPD. His name was Jim Gordon and before he joined the GCPD he spent time in the military. Through gossip I heard his goal is to clean up the streets of Gotham like his father, but little did he know his father had a couple of friends on the dark side.. Including my grandfather...  Well my grandfather till he got kicked out of Gotham...

I lay in bed looking at the ceiling fan go around in circles. It's like a snake eating itself, never ending. I turn to my right to check the time on my blue digital clock. 8:00am my clock reads. I get up and get dressed because today, well today I was going to talk to Oswald again and maybe get some information out of him. I wanted to believe that was the only reason but there was something about him. I'm not sure what it was but it made me want to see him again. I put my black undershirt on along wth my black zipper jeans with my black leather jacket over my grey hoodie and combat boots. Being a mafia bosses daughter I had to look at least decent so I decided only to put some eyeliner and lip gloss and brushed my slightly wavy brunette hair. It's not like I'm meeting with a king and or president. As I grab my scarf and start to head out the door Harold walks in.

"Well you're up early." He says looking over at the clock.

"I'm always up this early." I respond as Harold gives me a strange look as he knows I love to sleep in and despise waking up early.

"Well your father wants you to look over some more files about the business and start to visit some of these locations-"

"I can't." I interrupt Harold

"and why not?" Harold asks with a smile not believing the attitude I'm giving him.

"I'm going for a walk." I say flashing asmile as I push past him and start to head out the door.

He grabs my wrist before I have time to leave the room. "Don't do anything stupid." Harold says his eyes practically burning into my soul. 

He's cute when he cares.

"I know. I'll be okay." With that I pulled my wrist away from him and left.

I mean I'm not a total idiot I know being the daughter of a mafia boss I have to keep my head low and my guard up. I always had shades on me along with a knife in my right and left shoe with a gun between my jeans and back.

As I walked the streets of Gotham I saw the corrupt darken beauty of the city.  I was about 10 minutes from Fishes club when I spot Oswald across the street reading the news paper. I pulled my hoodie over my head and hid in the darkness between the ally walls. He was reading Gotham Chronicle. I had heard about the news from two workers gossiping about it. The two cops Gordon and Harvey were labeled Gotham heroes for finding the murderer of the Wayne's. I give them cuddoes for actually catching the guy. The sound of the cop car interrupted my thinking and Oswalds reading as his head whipped around to the sound of it.  I noticed Oswald had shades on just like I did but his were circle. He wore black jeans, nice dress shoes, and his usual tux. The admiration of what he was wearing stopped when he flashed a big smile at the cops arrival.

But I did have to say.. He looked good in the shades.

"No stop it! Stop thinking like that!" I whisper as I pinch myself. I turn my attention back to the cops.
