My Obsession (Alucard Love Story)

Prologue

Elena's POV

"Elena! Hurry up! You're going to be late," my mother shouted. "Yeah! Yeah! Don't stress me woman!," I yelled while stuffing my sleeping bag in my bag pack. "Be quick! Seriously girls nowadays..." Dad exclaimed from the car.

Once done, I closed my bag, which looked like a ticking bomb, which was going to explode at anytime, and threw it on my shoulders while rushing down the stairs. I pecked my mother on the cheeks and jumped in the car while she kept blabbering about the precautions I should take. Dad just laughed at my mother's evident worry about my safety, ignited the engine and took off towards the designated meeting point. Ouf... That was indeed a stressful morning.

You must be thinking why such a rush in the morning. Well, let me explain. I'm Elena Maira Atkins. But I prefer Ema. I'm a simple girl living in a simple family and living a simple life. I go to my classes, hang out with my friends, eat pizza, ect. Pretty much everything that a normal person does. However I have three huge obsessions that builds up my personality: music, video games and anime. That's all. Right now, I'm heading towards the youth centre, where a camping expedition was being organised. And obviously, my parents was willing to get rid of me for the week. Such wonderful parents...

I grinned. Even though I hated the idea of going in the forest for a week, I loved my parents.

The screeching car announced my arrival, bringing me back from my daydream. I mentally deflated with horror for I was going to spend a week in the forest, coping with nature's endless amount surprises. Seriously sometimes, you can even expect to see a dead body and it wouldn't be surprising.

'But hey, come on. At least you get an adventure,' I cheered even if it was unenthusiastically.

Few moments later ~

The road goes on and on and on... I whined to myself. We were currently walking through the forest. The dry leaves crunched under our heavy footsteps. The forest trail extended as far as the eye could see. Till now, we haven't encountered any surprises, which was a good omen.

My best friend, Megan, was in the same deplorable state as I was. She was huffing and puffing, carrying along her even larger backpack. Actually, most of us were in the same state, after all we had been walking for the whole day. As if sensing our reluctance to continue, one of the superiors advised the chief to stop, who immediately announced to set the camp for the night.

A series of approving signs and groans echoed through the group. Once the tents were erected, we were divided in different groups for different chores. For example, my best friend would be cooking the meals while I had to look for wood for tonight's campfire. Grudgingly, I took my penknife and a rope and set off for the search.

After hours of walking around, I finally collected enough dry wood for the campfire. I was tying the bundle when all of a sudden, I heard a twig snap. I immediately stiffened up and looked around cautiously. The sun was already setting and due to the dense forest, dark spots were already appearing.

Snap! I glanced towards the bush where the noise came from. The bush's leaves rustled. I held my breath and my heart was already pounding, mind racing to look for various scenarios. I should never have watched those horror movies yesterday.
Minutes later, the leaves rustled more vigorously and from the bush emerged a...rabbit!?

I heaved a sign of relief. Typical cliché... I chuckled at my idiocy. I lifted the heavy bundle and turned around in a swift movement due to the weight. And it seemed like nature wasn't done with me yet because my head collided immediately with a low branch of the nearby tree. I groaned as a wave of dizziness hit me. And it was like that I fell down unconscious.

3rd P.O.V

The bush ruffled again and the rabbit scurried away. What the poor unfortunate soul didn't know what that under the bush was the border one of the various magnetic tunnels created by the core of the Earth. The rock on the tunnels were gradually gaining magnetic properties, this was causing them to vibrate. And poor Elena had to fall unconscious on the center of concentration of the magnetic field.
