Third P.O.V

It was another peaceful day in the forest. The stags were grazing in the green prairie, surrounded by the dense green woods. The birds were chirping, squirrels were scurrying along the branches, flowers were blooming in the sunlight and a gentle breeze was caressing the leaves of the trees. However the wonderful sight contained another being. A human, who was lying under one of the trees and was apparently going to wake up anytime soon.

Elena's P.O.V

I felt something burning my skin. I wanted it to stop but it seemed that my body wasn't responding to my brain. My fingers twitched.

'Yes! Now step two: conquer the eyes,' I thought. Finally, I forced my eyes open only to be immediately blinded by the sudden light. I blinked several times to get rid of the blurriness. Wait! Is that a tree? I sat up abruptly.

Wrong movement! A sudden pain jolted in my head. Groaning, I rubbed my head groggily, unconsciously feeling the big bump on my forehead under my fringe. I blinked once again. It was day time. No shit Sherlock.

Just fuck off Watson.

I waited for my eyes to adjust with the brightness and scanned the area. The sunlight outlined the trees with some rays peaking through the leaves. The forest animals were doing their daily routine. But wait! Why am I here? Most importantly, why is everything looking so animated? Oh right! My awesome self was knocked out by a stupid branch. But that didn't reply my second question. Maybe it was my mind playing tricks.

I steadied myself using the same low branch that knocked me out, giving it the eye while doing so. My legs were wobbly and my pounding head was not helping. The bundle of woods was still lying beside me. 'Ok, keep calm. If I'm facing this direction, I must have come from the opposite direction,' I thought to myself, ' yeah! It must be that way.' And with that I started my expedition.

Trees, trees, more trees and Wait! Guess what? More trees again. I came to an adrupt stop and looked around. My eyes narrowed, " I have no memories of this place..."

"IS THERE AN END TO THIS ACCURSED FOREST?" I yelled with exasperation. The splashing of water brought me back from my tantrum. My thirst kicked in. A stream! I immediately turned and dashed towards the stream.

Once there, I threw myself on the bank and drank the water greedily. After my thirst was quenched, I splashed water on my face to get rid of the dirt and maybe calm my pounding head. With a relieved sign, I sat up and observed my surrounding. It was very peaceful but what really caught my attention, was my reflection.

My ginger hair was still tied up in a high ponytail. I was still wearing the club's uniform, which consisted of a yellow shirt, brown knee-lenght shorts, a brown blazer and my badge containing my name and the club's symbol. My ever twinkling blue eyes was shining with curiosity. However that troubled me the most was that I was completely cartoonised.

Being a realist, I thought maybe it's the knock-out that triggered this strange lucid dream.

Being an optimist, I hope that it'll will stick to the term "dream" and not change to become "nightmare".

Being an opportunist, Might as well enjoy it.

But being an otaku, I thought the thing that every otakus would have thought of: Have I been transported to the anime world?

Since everyone knows how weird our minds tend to be, and the amount of fanfiction I read in my entire life... I immediately kicked my rational mind, butchered it up and threw the pieces in the ocean of imagination.

Result: My reaction to this question was:

"BY THE DEATH SCYTHE OF LORD DEATH, I'M IN THE ANIME WORLD."

...And that did scare away some innocent animals.

But after that, realisation crashed onto me: I didn't know in which dimension I was in and most of the animes had forests. I deflated with horror. What if it is one of the horror genres? I don't wanna die. I'm too young to die. And what about Megan, Mother and father. WHAT ABOUT MY VIDEOGAMES AND MUSIC??

All those questions was answered by a growl coming from my hungry belly. Yeah right. There's more important things to worry about: My survival...

I'm soooo gonna die.
