Chapter 5

You sat up to hear the constant beeping of an unknown machine that seemed far off. There were voices outside, and you had a hunch it was about you. You examined the white room, you looked at the needles and wires in your arms and winced, you hated needles. All kinds of soft cries were heard outside, but none you recognized, leaving you depressed. There was a mirror by your bed, you looked at it and examined your face, it looked normal besides the new scar on your cheek. Two doctors waked in and add their eyes landed on you they looked surprised. "_______! Your awake." They exchanged glances as the one on the left examined his clipboard. " That's odd. Oh well." He walked over to the heart beat monitor and did something you would never know. "What's odd?" You asked, only now realizing they must have changed your bandages due to the clean white ones on your hand. "Hmm? Nothing, don't worry about it." As he turned you were able to see his features. He had messy Brown hair that seemed to go well with his very dark brown eyes, underneath his white coat was a dark blue shirt and jeans. "Are you hungry?" He said looking away from his board for once, your shook your head and he wrote something down. "OK, if you need something press the button and request for Dr.Jack."(Get it?) He said pointing out a small red button.
It had been around an hour sense Dr.Jack left and something seemed, well, off. You still weren't hungry and there was this weird melody in your head. You wanted to pull the wires out of you and run but it wouldn't end good. You hadn't gotten any visitors, usually your parents would've visited you so they probably didn't tell them yet, or you hoped. The clothes were itchy as shit and the sounds of sobs would drive you insane. You turned your head over and that's when you noticed it. Your machines line was flat and the constant beeps it once let out was now a long lasting note.
And your were breathing.
