Chapter 1
~Maddy's POV
I was lying in my bed. I was on my phone on Twitter. All of a sudden I got a text message from Connor (my best friend)
"Hey Maddy! Wanna come to the mall with me?-Con Da Bon"
"Sure I'll be ready in 20!-Maddy"
I got up out of bed and walked over to my closet. I found a cute light purple shirt with white short shorts. I put on my galaxy colored Vans. I walked over to my make-up section of my room. I applied light make-up, because Connor likes my face natural. I combed my hair and straightened my hair. I pulled back my bangs and headed down stairs. It's normally not that warm in Minnesota during the summer but it was hot today. I yelled at my mom that I was hanging out with Connor. She said, "Okay! I need to tell you something when you come back though!" I really didn't care and ran outside. Soon Connor pulled up in a red car. "Hey Maddy!" he called out. "Hey Con!" I yelled back. I ran over and sat him the passenger seat. We were headed towards the mall.
Me and Connor walked inside the mall to the food court. Connor was wearing a black sweatshirt that said Fresh Ta Death on the front. "So what do you need me for Connor?" I said. "Nothing, let's just go shopping!" he said. I looked into Con's green glistening eyes. I have had a crush on Connor since we were in 6th grade. That has been a very long time now. He asked if I wanted anything at The ice cream shop. He's so sweet he'll buy me anything. Of course I couldn't take up an ice cream offer so he got me a strawberry cone! My favorite! He got chocolate chip. This was like a perfect hang out day with him!
~Connor's POV
Maddy was a really pretty girl. I would do anything for her. She started giggling. I said,"What?!" "You have ice cream on your nose!" She said. I grabbed a napkin and whipped it off. Her laugh was so sweet. Maybe I should take her somewhere special. He favorite restaurant, I thought. She loved McDonald's so much. I have no clue why it's very greasy. I decided I would take her to McDonalds and have a chat with her.
