~Maddy's POV

Connor actually took me to my favorite fast food place! McDonald's is literally my life. "So...let's order then sit in the back!" Con said. We ordered out food which of course Connor only got a drink cause he hates this place... "So why are we here?" I asked. "Well Maddy I think it's about time I say this." He said. "Well...I have been liking you a lot more than a friend for a very long time.." He said. Did he seriously just tell me he liked me. This is the day I have been waiting for. My best friend finally likes me as much as I like him! He started turning bright red. "Wow Con. I actually have been liking you for a long time now also." I said. That actually felt really good to say face to face. He started smiling. I looked into his sparkling green eyes while he looked into my navy blue eyes. He started moving closer to my face. Wait a second. Was he actually going to kiss me?! This is the best day ever! I have never kissed a guy before, and I'm really nervous. He closed his eyes. I closed mine back. Our lips finally touched. A spark flew in between us. That was the best thing ever.

~Connor's POV

Finally. Maddy Thomas felt the exact same as I did. It was a light and gentle kiss. We just sat there awkwardly for a while. "So, you wanna leave this place?" I ask. "Please." She said. Well we kissed...in McDonald's? Oh well. That doesn't matter. We got back into my car. "So Maddy. Where do you want to go now?" I said. Maddy checked her phone. "Oh gosh! I have 3 missed calls from my mom! I better go home Connor."she said. We finally reached her house. "Maddy! So it's official between us now?" I asked. "Of course Connor!!"she winked. Yes. Maddy Thomas is my girlfriend. My best friend. I will remember to never break her heart. (:

~Maddy's POV

What a day with Connor, I thought. I stepped inside my house while I waved at my new boyfriend bye. "Mom! Are you here?" I asked. "In the kitchen honey!" She called. I walked into the kitchen where she was cooking grilled chicken. Ew. "So how was the day with Connor?" She asked. "Better than better!" I said. "Awh sweetheart I know you've been liking him for ages now! He'll understand soon!" "That's right mom! So maybe he is my boyfriend now starting like 15 minutes ago..." I said. "Awe! It's about time he's realized this!"she said. "Yeah, so why did you call me to come home?" I asked. "Honey, I have something very important to tell you. You do know how me and Dad own a business right?" "Um yes."I say. "Dad and I got transferred to San Antonio, Texas...we will be moving sometime this week." Wait did my mom just say that. "What about Connor and every memory in this state? I'm not in for moving!"I stated. "Sorry sweetie. But that's the plan. You can still keep in touch with Connor!"she said. Moving to Texas. Was this seriously happening. I ran up to my room and started bawling my eyes out. How was I suppose to tell this news to Con?? This wasn't going to be fun. At all.
