Chapter 4

~Maddy's POV

The next morning I woke up. Today was my last day here in Minnesota. I went into my closet and picked out some pink short shorts with an over sized blue t-shirt. I grabbed a pair of white keds, and I headed for my bathroom. I didn't put much make-up on then I threw my dirty blonde hair up in a messy bun. Then I grabbed my white iPhone 4S and ran down stairs. Connor could be here any minute, because it's already 10:00 A.M. Ashleigh was going to come later that day. My house looked so empty now. Boxes stacked everywhere with no furniture. It didn't feel like home anymore. Soon Connor pulled his red car in our driveway. I ran outside and jumped into his arms as soon as he got out of the car. "Connor your finally here!"I said. "So when are you leaving?" He asked. "Well since we're packed and everything...we're leaving in like 30 minutes..." He just stood there and stared at me. Soon he leaned in closer to me. I could tell this kiss was going to be very passionate. All of a sudden, Ashleigh starts honking her car horn and scares us both to death! She stepped out of her dark blue mustang. She can up behind me and started hugging me. "I can't believe your leaving today! I'll miss you so much!" She said. "I'll miss you even more!" I said. Well not since you ruined our kiss I thought. But I'll always love Ashleigh. My mom came outside and yelled, "WE ARE LEAVING NOW! SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR FRIENDS!" I said," Well this is it.. I am going to Texas. Are you sure you have Jc my number when he tells me when he's at the airport?" "Positive! I will miss you so much!"he said. Ashleigh saw that we needed some alone time. She ran over to my mom in the house to say bye. Connor and I gazed into each others eyes and had one last kiss. My mom started the car up. "Come on honey! We are going to be late!"she yelled. I gave them both a huge hug. Then me Connor and Ashleigh all had a big group hug. "Bye guys!"I yelled. "Promise you'll come back!" They yelled at the same time. "I promise!!" I hopped into the passenger seat of my mom's car and we drove off the airport. I was really going to miss all the people and memories in Minnesota. While I was looking out the window thinking, we had finally arrived at the airport. We grabbed all our bags and went through the sensor thingy and boarded to our plane. It would be around a 3 hour flight. I had to sit by my mom and some 7 year old boy. All he was doing was playing on his mom's phone? Ha. Maybe his phone. My mom was reading a cooking magazine. Oh boy. So I just put in my earphones and listened to Ed Sheeran on replay. I fell asleep dreaming about my boyfriend and old friends. 

-I finally woke up. It was past three hours and we were just landing. I can't believe I slept the whole time. Oh well. Me and my mom gathered our things. My mom went to some little building that had information about Texas. I just stood there. In the middle of the airport. All of a sudden my phone started buzzing. It was a text from a random number. It said...

-"Hey! Maddy right? It's Jc! Connor told me all about you! I can't wait to meet you! I'm at the airport by the information center! If your here then I suggest coming over here! Meet ya soon-Jc☁"

Jc! Yeah I forgot about meeting him! I walked casually over the information building. I was so curious to see what he looked like! I saw a guy that may be Jc. He was wearing a batman beanie, white vans, cloud shirt, with jeans. That seemed like him. Wow. He was well dressed and there I was in a huge t-shirt. I walked up to him and asked,"Hey! I'm Maddy, are you Jc?" He looked at me with his brown eyes. Before he could say anything I knew it was him. Hey, my new friend wouldn't be that bad looking.

~Connor's POV

Ashleigh and I went out to get Starbucks. No not at date, because we both knew Maddy was mine. I ordered a white chocolate mocha while she ordered a mocha frappichino. We sat there at a small circle table. The whole place smelt good. I knew what Ashleigh was thinking about. We had the same thought on our mind. Maddy. We knew she would be coming back soon. Ashleigh and Maddy has been my friends since 5th grade. I fell in love with Maddy the first time I saw her. There was a connection between us. Ashleigh said,"Do you really think she'll come back to visit or forget about us?" "Maddy will come back. She loves us both. I'm her boyfriend and your her best friend. It's not like she's going to fall I love with another guy and get the new bestest friend." I said. "Well especially not with Jc. Jc has a girlfriend."I said. "Yeah I hope she won't forget us." She said.
