Chapter 3

Next class was English. I guess this was AP English, so everyone is supposed to be really good at reading and crap, except I am the only one who takes it seriously. Everyone is gawking over our hot teacher, Mr. Brien. He was cute and not that much older than us, but at least I wasn't drooling over him and could actually pay attention. God every girl in the room literally had stars in their eyes, except me of course. Anyways, I had found out today that i was in AP English with Lexi and Alyssa. Lexi was really good at writing poems and Alyssa was super creative. I was actually moved next to them. I guess as a new student I got to pick where I sat, so I sat with them.

"Hey!", Lexi and Alyssa said in unison.

"Hey guys", i said quietly. I guess I was always quiet but never realized how quiet till they asked what I said. I had to repeat myself again. After English, I headed over to my math class. I had maths with Ash and Cal and Mikey. Our teacher was Mr. Hemmings. He was okay. He never yelled and let us go on our phones a lot. I got relatively good grades in all my classes. I must have spaced out because next thing I know I hear a snap of my left ear like finger snaps.

"Mills? Earth to Amelia.", I hear Ashton yell in my ear.

"What the fuck, Ash.", I said angrily.

"You weren't listening to a word I just said."

"Then repeat it."

"Well we all were going to go to this little park later. You, me, Cal, Sydney, Mikey, Lexi, Alyssa, Joe, and Thomas. Oh! And Calum's new girlfriend Emily.", he said whilst running out of breath.

"Um okay sure. But I need to do my homework first."

"Fine. God you are such a goody goody.", he says with a smirk.

"Whatever Irwin.", I reply.
