Chapter 9

We decided it was a good idea to go to all kinds of different stores. It usually ended in all the boys and all the girls separate and in their own groups. We went to hot topic of course. Lexi and I found some new shirts and jeans and band bracelets. Emma was quiet the entire time. I went to ask her what's wrong.

"Emma what happened."
"I don't know. I just think Cal is gonna dump me"
"Why would you think that?"
"He has been ignoring me. Like usually he is all kissy with me but not recently"
"Oh. Well I am sure it doesn't mean anything."
"I don't know Tay. I just get scared of it."
I decided it was a good idea to text Calum.

T: hey your girlfriend is sad cause of u. what did u do?
C: um..
T: UM WHAT
C: I just met someone else.
T: who?
C: well her name is Ashley.
T: NO CAL U CANT DATE HER
C: why? what's the problem
T: um.. well.. uh.. she is my sister
C: since when have u had a sis?
T: since 1999
C: oh uh okay. well what do i do about Emma?
T: i will tell her. so uh guess she isn't going on tour with us? and my sis will?
C: Uh okay.. and yeah she will.

Wow. Cal is dating my sister. No wonder my sis has been so happy. Now i have to be a terrible friend. Oh well.

"Hey em?"
"Yeah?"
"I just spoke to Calum"
"And?"
"He is breaking up with you.."
"What?"
"Uh yeah. He is dating someone else."
"Who? Who is the skank ass motherfucker?"
"Okay first, I want a nicer tone"
"Sorry I'm sad."
"Well uh my sister."
"When have you had a sister?"
"Since 1999, dumbass"
"Oh well uh I guess I better go then", And with that she walked out of Hot Topic. I felt kind of bad. However, I felt even worse that I was going to deal with my sister.

"What happened to Emma?", Lexi said to me.
"Her and Cal just broke up and now he is dating my sister."
"Haha. Oh wow", she said laughing. Sometimes people thought that was rude but that's how she was. Later on Mikki, Lexi and I met up with the boys in the food court. With all our bags in hand, we walked out the store. Cal slacked behind us. I know he is hurting but he will be okay. I know it. My sister is great. Even if she is so fucking annoying that I want to rip her head off. I will be there for him. We all will.
