SPOV
I'm so happy. I just finished saving money for my L.A. move I've been planning for a few months now. I've been planning to start a restaurant and I wanted to build the first one in L.A. To save up the money I've been working as a waitress at Applebee's. I've told my girlfriend Alex about this dream of mine and she seemed extremely supportive of it. I can't wait to tell her the good news!
*Later that day at Stevie and Alex's apartment*A- Alex
S- StevieS- Why the fuck are you being such a asshole about this Alex?!
A- Oh I'm the asshole? Who's the one deciding to just up and move to L.A. on the wimb?
S- I'm offering to bring you with me while I start my company it's gonna be-
A- You're talking about a company that you aren't even sure will actually happen.
S- It will happen Alex, and when it does we'll-
A- No Stevie! I'm so fucking tired of hearing you talk about some fantasy you've created in your head. You need a real plan and a real reason to go to L.A. if you don't have that then I can't be with somebody who keeps their head in the clouds.
S- Alex, what are you trying to say?
A- You need to choose. It's either me or your fantasy.
S- I thought you supported my idea Alex. What happened to, "You can do it Stevie. I believe you can make that dream a reality and I'll be with you every step of the way when you do."
A- I met someone that's what happened!I froze staring broken hearted at the woman who I thought loved me unconditionally and would never cheat or leave me for anyone. I was speechless, as I felt the tears threatening to fall I put my head down. As my voice cracked I asked,
S- What's her name?
I knew her telling me who the girl was that stole the girl I love would hurt me even more but I braced myself.
A- Brad. His name is Brad.
At this very moment it felt like someone took two swords and stabbed one through my heart and the other through my chest. I felt my entire world collapsing around me. I felt like I couldn't breathe, I felt the tears fall like waterfalls from my eyes I couldn't take it. I looked Alex straight into her eyes so she could see all of the pain I was feeling. But she couldn't see it.... I know she can't she has never connected with me on a emotional level, now I know why.
S- How long? How long has this been going on?
A- About three months. I didn't want you to find out this way. Actually I didn't want you to find out at all. I was going to end our relationship but I didn't have the heart.... you looked so happy and in love and I never thought you would actually make the move for L.A. and now that you will I- ....I waited for her to finish as I stared into her eyes trying to find some form of emotion.... there was nothing. No sadness, no pity, no regret, no remorse.... she was emotionless with a heart of ice. She had no kind of emotion left for me. After what felt like hours of silence it was clear she had nothing left to say so I packed my things into U-Haul got in my car and began my drive to L.A. as I let out all of the sobs I was holding in.

Hey guys/gals I hope you enjoyed this chapter I would've had it up yesterday but I wanted to develop this chapter a little more before I published it. I hope you guys/girls will continue reading and as I'm writing this I have 102 reads! Omg thank you, all 102 of you guys/girls for reading this. It means so much that people are enjoying this idea that I had enough to vote on it and add it to their reading lists. I'm very touched because I assumed unless I promoted this every time I put a chapter up that nobody would take the time of day to read it but obviously I was wrong. So thank you from my feet to my brain and everything in between. I'll be uploading my next chapter either tomorrow or the day after so be ready. It's been real I love you guys/gals I truly do see ya!Written on November 20th, 2015 at 12:17 AM EST
