*Disclamier: I do not own the charming song in the media :)

This is a little questionnaire by the author, which she really hopes that someone will take the time to answer in order to help her make improvements. Keep on reading for interesting trivia and a playlist as well!

- Trivial Fact: The author wrote most of this story in a purple book, which she took everywhere with her along with some music. -

~One: What part of this story do you remember the most?

~Two: Which character of this story do you remember the most?

- Trivial Fact: This entire story's idea stemmed from one of the playlist's songs. [Guess which one. ;)]

~Three: Was the ending satisfactory? (If not, what do you think could've made it so?)

~Four: Did the story make sense to you? Did the writing flow well?

- Trivial Fact: Two first chapters were written, but only one was used. In the other draft, Trick was the one with a robotic eye. -

~Five: Would you willingly read a sequel?
(If so, what about?)

~Six: Fluffy rabbits or mewing kittens? (Not really a serious question)

- Trivial Fact: Arisu is supposedly the Japanese word for Alice. -

~Seven: How did you come across this book?

~Eight: Would you buy it in a bookstore/recommend it to friends?

- Trivial Fact: This story was started on the third of October and completed on Halloween. -

~Nine: What did you think of the poem?

~Trivial Fact: Coryn sewed his golden cloak by hand; words couldn't express how devastated he was to lose it, and how grateful he was to have it back. -

~ FINAL Trivial Fact: The author loves her readers and feels warm 'n fuzzy whenever they make themselves known. <3

Hidden gem: The protective symbols first mentioned on the front doors in Chapter One were drawn by 'it', when he was still human, to alert him of visitors by ringing an enchanted bell in the bell tower when touched.
Contrary to Coryn's belief that it's magical properties were broken, it's well worth noting that the bell rung when he inadvertently pushed the door open, and continued to ring on the hour until he left.

Coryn wishes to thank you on behalf of himself, Trick and Alice for reading their story.
The little white rabbit does too. The other White Rabbit wasn't so keen on giving its gratitude.

I must take a moment to thank the wonderful members of the #GreatReads book club for providing feedback and suggesting improvements. I cannot thank each and every amazing person, but I hope this will somewhat do! You can find their comments scattered about the Prologue, Chapter One and Chapter Two.

Farewell, dearest reader! It was my upmost pleasure to accompany you through this twisted tale of woe and illusion~

Here's the full poem, as requested by Theo333:
"The somber manor stood so proud and tall.
And,
An angel's footsteps echoed through the hall.

Comfort, the child's eyes did preach,
As he took a place within his caretaker's reach.

The rocking chair creaked back and forth.
Silver eyes - watching the boy fall far asleep.

A honeyed voice, soft and soothing sang,
A storybook's pleasing tang.

Alice merely dreamed of her dramatic fell,
and all was well in her wonderland.

No sooner the story's end rolled off his tongue,
Had the bell tower's piercing screams rung;
Warning of danger soon to come.

Silver eyes - full of wary.
Go to bed,
I promise it's only a mischievous fairy.

The little boy's trust was true.
But,
An awful crash came out of the blue.

Glassy shards the window did splay.
One thing he was certain;
It was not a fairy coming out to play.

Heavy booted footfalls thumped from above.
The caretaker kissed the boy's head with love.

Be swift as the white rabbit and run with haste,
Or the Queen Of Hearts will lay you to waste.

The boy sprang off his lap.
Ran through the maze without a map.
But roundabout was things all.
So eventually,
He rounded back towards the hall.

In the hall,
A brute with an axe did he see,
Bellowing with obscenity.

Give me the gold of this manor's wealth!
Your life is mine to control.
Now lead me to it before the bell's next toll!

The caretaker's eyes yielded no fear,
He didn't shed a single tear.
There is no gold for you here.

Fury flashed across the brute's rugged face.
He swung his axe much like a mace.
Gorged the caretaker's heart right out of place.

Disregarding the gruesome art.
The boy ran over,
And tried to fix his friend's still-beating heart.

The axe swung down once more.
Ripping open a colourful display of warm blood and gore.

But before the boy's body could hit the floor,
A gale of wind blew through the door.
The caretaker human no more.

Scarlet-ringed eyes, the brute did see.
Now your life belongs to me.

Don't cry little rabbit,
The caretaker did coo.
Now we begin our lives anew."

Nightcore Playlist.
(Everything that the author was listening to while writing this. Obvious disclaimer: I own none of these songs.]

Survive The Night - MandoPony
[We're not so scary if you see us in the daylight
You'll be so happy just as long as you survive the night]

Anthem Of The Lonely - Nine Lashes
[Never want to leave this place
And right now
See it in a different way
So right now
Even if you take me on...]

Amaranth - Nightwish
[Caress the one, the never fading rain in your heart - the tears of snow-white sorrow
Caress the one, the hiding amaranth
In a land of the daybreak]

White Rabbit - Egypt Central
[Your magic white rabbit
Has left its writing on the wall
We follow like Alice
And just keep diving down the hole
We're falling and we're losing control
Your pulling us and dragging us down this dead end road
We follow like Alice
And just keep diving down the hole]
