People handle jealousy in very different ways.

"This place is so cool. How'd you get such a last minute reservation?" Taehyung questioned incredulously, gazing around and taking in the sleek and beautiful design from their seats.

"I dunno, actually. But I do know we got lucky," Jungkook replied, following his boyfriend's actions in fascination with the place.

"You can say that again," Jimin put in from his side of the table next to Yoongi as he took everything in himself. "Have you ever even seen water glasses this fancy? You could probably buy our whole damn apartment with this thing," he remarked with enthusiasm, picking up the one in front of him and taking a sip out of it, crunching on an ice cube like a little kid.

"You know the best part though?" Jungkook asked, feeling over the pure white tablecloth with his fingers. "I invited you guys 'cause I wanted to talk about something, and now I can't even remember what it was," he told them, shrugging as Yoongi laughed and Jimin smiled at him.

"It's fine, really. If it's you losers, then it's cool with me," Yoongi joked. "Being dressed like this is weird, though. Not gonna lie," he added pointedly. In an ironed plaid button up and cargo shorts that he'd said "made him look like a douchewad," he definitely felt out of his element.

Plus, the comment was completely on purpose; Jimin had forced him into the clothes (much more presentable than the sweats he'd been wearing) before they left in case it happened to be a gorgeous place like this.

"Not my fault you're lazy," Jimin muttered before crunching down on another ice cube.

"What was that?"

Jimin cleared his throat, straightening his shirt out again before turning back to Yoongi. "I said, 'not my fault you're lazy,'" he repeated himself loud and clear, nodding condescendingly. "Do I need to say it again?"

"Alright, girls, settle down. This isn't Glee; we don't need a catfight," Taehyung inserted himself in, reminding the two of them that there were still two other people sitting right across from them (that were technically the reason they were sitting there in the first place). Yoongi and Jimin looked over at them once more, no longer bickering and Jimin looked like he felt a little bad, while Yoongi sort of seemed unbothered.

Yoongi and Jimin almost never acted this bitterly towards each other, but Jungkook was too distracted to really think much of it. In fact, he was a bit busy trying to hide the dumb grin on his face; if he felt the need, Taehyung could dissolve an argument easily with a silly comment, and most of the time everything would return to normal. It was really such a cute thing to him. Plus, it was definitely helpful considering Jungkook himself was about as useful as a shoe when it came to mood-making.
