Addictions can return.

"Seokjin?" he murmurs. "Babe?"

For what feels like the fiftieth time in the past hour, he knocks softly on the door with his knuckle, listening to the echoing sound it makes in the room behind it. In the silence, he waits patiently, just like he's been doing for ages.

This should not be a problem. His boyfriend is a travel vlogger. As in, the type of YouTuber that likes to get up off of their ass and do things.

"Just give me a second," Seokjin's voice finally grants him, echoing off of the walls.

If Namjoon was tallying up how many times he's said those exact words on a notepad, he thinks he would have run out of space by now. Maybe even run out of pages.

"Are you sure this time?" he asks, feeling the urge to put his back against the door and slide dramatically to the floor like a fed-up tv character.

"Super sure," Seokjin replies behind the door. Namjoon has to admit that his tone is pretty convincing. If it were anyone else in his position, Seokjin might've been able to trick them. "I'm almost there."

"Okay," Namjoon relents anyways, probably because he's an idiot. His idiot self does have the assertion to ask for one thing, thankfully. "But, like, you need to stop locking yourself in the bathroom."

"Oh, shoot!" Seokjin exclaims all of a sudden, sounding disgruntled as he scares the shit out of his boyfriend, whose ear had been far too close to the door. "Joon, just give me a second!" he urges, frantic.

"Babe, that's what you said six hours ago," Namjoon complains, rubbing his violated ear.

He's not even lying about that. Seokjin hasn't opened this damn door since eleven this morning, and it's now almost half past five.

That's not even the weirdest part, either. A few minutes ago, he'd taken a glance at the crack under the door, and from the looks of it, Seokjin has been sitting in pitch blackness.

For six hours.

Namjoon has this theory that there's going to be mushrooms growing in his hair next time he sees him. That is, if there even is a next time. If he's got a charger in there, Namjoon has reason to be believe he'll never speak to his boyfriend face to face again.

"Alright, well, uh..." he says, cursing his luck, which is just about as good as his ability to keep physical objects in one piece. "I'm just gonna..."

And with that, he turns and leaves the scene, walking down the hall to their empty kitchen.

There, a recipe book lays out in the middle of the island counter, open to an early page that's coordinated with the couple of ingredients and tools laying around. Things he'd set out himself, so Seokjin could show him how to cook this recipe.

So they could do something fun together.

Now, he knows he's pretty spoiled in the fun department, being a traveling YouTuber and having Kim Seokjin as his boyfriend, (and on top of that, being the only couple in their friend group that's out to their fans) but he can't help but feel disappointed.
