Poseidon POV

My eyes widened when Zeus appeared in front of us and screamed, "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!??"

I looked to Hecate who we usually depended on to protect our auras and she looked stunned. I'm so sorry. She said, in everyone's head. We all forgave her and turned back to Zeus.

He was standing there with his arms crossed and he was putting all his weight on his left side. I almost laughed out loud but I didn't when I saw that he was deadly, and that means he could be a hazard to Percy.

You think of the lie, you're the god of lies after all. I said in Hermes' head. Hermes looked at me with wide eyes. He begrudgingly agreed and opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by Chaos.

"Do you know who I am? You cannot command me, or anyone here to do anything." Zeus looked over at Chaos for the first time and his eyes widened drastically. He looked around at the other Primordials and his eyes only widened and his jaw dropped.

"What are you doing here, Chaos?" He demanded. He was still his pompous old self and I rolled my eyes at his antics.

"Why, we were just meeting up to discuss what we were going to get you for your birthday." Chaos spoke sarcastically. I almost broke down laughing but I just managed to conceal my laughter for choking on nothing.

Zeus looked even more angry at this remark. "Why would you be doing that? My birthday was a month ago!"

If this wasn't actually a terrible situation, I'd probably be rolling on the floor laughing, but since this could risk Percy's life, I had to stay serious. Apparently the other gods/goddesses/primordials got the point and kept their mouths shut.

I opened my mouth to say some ridiculous lie, but a scream interrupted me. Percy's scream.

Everyone's eyes widened and a few people's mouths dropped. Zeus looked confused. "What was that?"

When nobody answered him, he instantly stormed out of the throne room to see what the commotion was about. I was the first to come back to my senses and tried to stop him, but I failed miserably. "Zeus," I started, trying to get his attention. "I bet it was nothing. Just some child falling or something."

Unfortunately, he ignored me.

Another scream rang out through Olympus. And another, and another.

And they were pure screams of fear and pain. "Do you think that that is a child falling?" Zeus said harshly as he walked faster. I went into a jog to try and catch up with him.

He eventually came across Hera's palace, where Percy was being held. Zeus walked right by, and I mentally sighed in relief. Then, he screamed again. I mentally groaned as Zeus turned and it was fairly obvious that he was there, and not even someone as idiotic as Zeus could miss it.

He ran into Hera's palace. He waited for another scream and this time, it came louder than it had before and it dragged on for about 15 seconds. Zeus almost instantly found the room and saw Percy.

He ran up to the bed and his eyes widened in fear as he looked at Percy, who was drenched in blood and had a long cut being made across his face. "Who is this?" Zeus said loudly.

Nobody answered. "WHO IS THIS?" Zeus yelled at the top of his lungs. "Percy Jackson." Thalassa spoke confidently.

Zeus turned to her and glared. "Who is he the child of?" He asked in a deadly calm voice. Nobody answered yet again and you could tell that he was very angry. I almost flinched when his glare came across me and he walked towards me slowly.
