Change of Plans

I woke up at dawn.

Staying silent I learnt that the rest of the house was still asleep.

Deciding I wanted to apologize to Kakashi again I got up and got dressed.

Leaving through my bedroom window, I ran to the hospital.

Visiting hours were not open yet so I used chakra and climbed the wall.

I sensed where Kakashi was and found that he was awake.

Someone else was in the room with him.

It was Tsunade.

“I know your there Darci” Kakashi said.

I smiled before climbing in through the window.

“Just the girl I wanted to see” Tsunade said grinning.

My gaze on her changed.

“Yes?” I asked cautiously.

“I have a different mission for you to go on” Tsunade said.

“WHAT!?!?” I yelled.

“Don’t yell in the hospital!” Tsunade hissed.

“Normally I wouldn’t but when you drop a bombshell like that…” I said trailing off.

“What ever. This client asked for you specifically. They are in the bed behind you” Tsunade said.

I turned and saw Kai.

“Kai? What the hell are you doing here?” I asked as I rushed to his side.

Kai opened his eyes.

“Enemy ninja have taken over the village. Princess Shiori and Prince Rin are hostages. I barely escaped” Kai said.

“Shh, shh. Don’t talk. Rest and get better. I’ll…I’ll take care of it” I said.

Kai nodded before he fell unconscious.

I turned to Lady Tsunade who was looking at me oddly.

“I will accept the mission to the LightningVillage. My kin are in trouble” I said.

“I thought so. I have done all I can for Kakashi but it isn’t enough for him to go on the mission with you. I need you to heal him” Tsunade said a little reluctant.

I nodded walked over to Kakashi.

My hands glowed green and I placed them over Kakashi’s sharingan.

In minutes he was all healed.

“Also accompanying you on this mission is Neji Hyuga, Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi and Kiba Inuzuka. You are in charge of this mission. You leave when team Kakashi does” Tsunade said before she walked out.

I closed my eyes and took deep breathes.

“Are you alright Darci?” Kakashi asked.

“Fine. I’m fine. Do you want me to leave while you change?” I asked.

“I’m already changed” Kakashi said.

I carefully opened my eyes to see and fully dressed Kakashi, minus his headband.

“Where to now?” I asked.

“I want to talk. Let’s go for a walk” Kakashi said.

I sighed but nodded anyway.

We jumped out the window.

Kakashi led the way.

He was silent but he wasn’t reading Jiraiya’s book.
