Chaptet four:

Maya's POV

"ALRIGHT CLASS I AM SURE YOU HAVE YOUR PROJECTS READY," our art teacher yells through the talkative class.
everybody stops talking and stares at the teacher waiting for her to say something including me.
She walked over to her drakes and grabbed a crumbled piece of paper and starts explaining.
"Alright on this sheet I'm going to call out you and your partners name for you too present," she saids with a smile.
Everyone groans and the teacher rolls her eyes and began calling out the first pair.
"Shane and Holly," the teacher calls out and a pretty Girl with long wavy red hair and a floral dress with heels walks to the front of the classroom along with Shane.
I started at her with a really shocked face. Is not like I was jealous of how... Hot and sexy and.... Shane was totally starring at her while she talked- wait what Shane is starring at that girl? What the why is he starring at her I mean in his freaking girlfriend not her!!
"And that's how we expressed our art project on love," Holly finishes with a sweet smile on our face.
Everyone claps and the teacher then calls out the second pair which was me and Lucas.
We stood up and I glanced over at Shane and Holly which were chatting and holly playfully pushed his shoulder as a way of flirting... Well I think.
I take a deep breath and began to explain the project but as I was explaining I could see Lucas glancing at me a lot which was wired but I shrugged it off and kept on going.

Everyone else went after us and finally the bell went and I went over to Shane to talk to him.
"Hey Shane," I say and he jumps
"Oh hey babe," he replies with a smile... Well I think it was real.
"So I was wondering if you wanted to-," "oh hey Shane," a girl cuts me off.
I look up and I see the pretty red haired girl again with her hand on Shane's shoulder.
"So I was thinking that we could meet up at Starbucks to discuss our ya know, grades," she said and then starts to ramble on again.
I roll my eyes making sure no one can notice and walk off to the canteen.
I usually sat with Shane but I guess since princess talk a Holick is with him I decided to sit with the rest of the group.
"Hey guys," i say as I plop down onto my chair.
"Oh hey Maya," Riley replies with a big grin.
"Hey where's your lunch?" Farkle asks me.
"Oh umm I just forgot it," I say with a smile.
No I am not anorexic I just am not hungry after that talk with Shane and that stupid other one.
"Hey look there's Shane," Riley points out to me.
"Arn't  you gonna say hi?" She asks me.
"Oh umm no I think he's a bit busy," I say looking over at Shane talking to that stupid red head.
"I don't even know her name," I mumble and start to fiddle with me plastic fork.
I bell soon went and Riley and I linked arms to walk off to class.
"Hey Maya," I hear someone say behind me.
I turn around and see Luca standing there mouthing something.
I suddenly feel a cold wet substance on my shirt and I hear laughing coming from everyone.
"Hey Maya need a mirror," I hear billy ask as he hands me a mirror and I scream.
I am covered in ketchup.
"Ugh who did this!" I shout but I know who did it already.
I turn around to face the red haired laughing her pretty face off.
"OMG I am soo sorry," she saids but I just run off hearing footsteps behind me.
