Chapter: seven

Lucas POV

(Skip to when Riley and Lucas arrive at Maya's house)

"Maya?" Riley asks Maya as she opens the door slowly.

"Wow," was the first thing I thought in my head. Her hair was a big blonde mess. she was in her purple leopard print Pjs and her mascara had smudged all to her ears, but I still thought she looked nice, wait what?!

"How did you get in?" Maya asks groggily.
Riley raises her eyebrows pulls out a pair of keys.
"You have me a key to your apartment last year Maya," Riley chuckles as she walks in and hugs Maya.
"Are you okay pumpkin?" Riley asks but Maya shakes her head in disagreement.
Maya doesn'tsay anything but lets some tears fall down her face.I just stood there, watching Riley and Maya's long embrace while thinking why the hell am I just staring at Maya like a creeper, wait I'm staring at Maya!! Shit I'm just gonna move my head slowly to the Si- well Maya has noticed so there's no point now.
"Oh hey huckleberry," Maya says with a slight smile.
Suddenly all the confidence I had washed out of me like a water fall and I just stood there still staring at her.
"Why am I even nervous around her? She's Maya fucking hart one of my best friend (kinda) I'm never like this," I thought in my head.
It was true though, it seemed like when she smiled at me my whole world would just start spinning 10x faster then normal.
Maya gave me a confused look but then fixed her gaze back on Riley.
"So Riley wanna go watch 50 shades of grey?" Maya asks and Riley's eyes grow wide.
"WHAT?!" Riley nearly shouts but Maya winks at her then Riley calms down.
"Oh okay let's go," Riley says and walks off to the living room.
"Umm, I guess I should be going..." I stutter awkwardly.
"Haha yeah unless if you want to watch the most heated movie ever,l Maya chuckles with a goofy grin.
I smile at her and then exit the household feeling dazed for some reason.

I decided to head home, still in daze which was making it hard to drive but I made it home safely and plopped onto my bed with a thud.
"What's up with me?" I thought to myself.
I mean lately I haven't even been able to control myself. I once ended up at Maya's house while she was in the middle of some make out with the big ass (AKA Shane).

I look at the time and it's already 11:00 at night.
"Wow I must of been thinking for s long time," I thought as I pull the covers over me and feel my eyes fall.
