Chapter 6: My life's git-go of revising

The bell rang and it signifies that it is our break-time. I stood up and eyed him. He came to me and said, "Hey gemstone." with his signature smile that always brings me up.

I didn't thought that, that would change every single thing that I thought wouldn't happen. This changed my entire life.

3 months had passed and I didn't expect things would go this way.

We're so close and so sweet. It's like "Kami na hindi kami" thing. I don't know if I should just go with this or build up a wall between my feelings for him.

As I was gathering my thoughts up, I walked towards the railings of the corridor just outside our room. I traveled my sight around and it finally stopped at the tallest tree that I could see within our compound. It just seems so relaxing looking at it.

I know I still love him.. Continuing my thoughts.. I know I can stop myself from loving him. But, I also know that I can't do it. I can't "unlove" him. I can't stay away from him. And I just can't do anything that I think is right.

Ako kasi yung tipo na babae na mahilig mag-take ng risks. Wala eh. Adventurous eh. Alam ko naman na sa susunod, pagbabayaran ko rin ang mga maling desisyon na magagawa ko. Ganun naman talaga dapat palagi..

I snapped back when someone called my attention. It's Jackie, my classmate. And so, I turned to her with my brows up urging her to say what she's going to.

"Tawag ka nya oh." sabay turo nya doon sa mga benches na naka-locate sa outline ng basketball court.

I then saw him. He's smiling brightly at me. I smiled back and waved at him. "Anong sasabihin mo?" medyo pasigaw kong tanong sa kanya. Malayo layo kasi yung distansya namin sa isa't isa.

He just shrugged his shoulders and mouthed "I love you." to me and he's back on his bright-smile state.

I smiled widely. Sino ba namang hindi, diba? The one you love said "I love you" to you in one of the sweetest way. I smiled at that thought.

I was savoring the scenario when some asshat's keeps on hitting me with their bare hands. I turned to see who that was.

It's my girl mates. Of course!

I ran after them to shoo them away.

Tiningnan ko sila habang nagtatawanan at pawang namumula't kinikilig pa at tumatawa parin. Kahit kelan talaga, napaka'tsismosa nila. Kaya, tinapunan ko sila ng nadampot kong lupa mula sa mga tanim na naka-display dito sa gilid ng hallway. Wala namang may mangingi-alam kasi area of responsibility naman namin 'to.

Tawa parin sila ng tawa hanggang sa ako nalang ang sumuko. I was about to head back where I was standing minutes ago, when the moment I turned my back on my girls, someone bumped into me that caused me to stumble a bit on my feet.
