Pumasok na kami ng tuluyan at dumiretso sa sarili naming mga upuan. Tamang tama lang din na kakarating lang ng adviser namin. Siguro bukas pa yung iba papasok dito sa room.

"Students, I'll arrange you to your temporary seating arrangement. Let's do it alternately. Girls, your seat-mates will be the boys. And of course, boys, your seat-mates will be the girls. " Sumang-ayon naman kami agad kay Sir Chiong. At kung minamalas nga naman ako, pinapwesto ako sa third row. Pangtatlong upuan galing sa harap. Lesheee~ anlayo. Parang pinagpe-pair kaming lahat dito dahil tig dalawa dalawa lang kayong magkatabi. Nakaupo ako ngayon sa pinakaright side when facing the board. Pero yung katabi ko ay nakaupo sa may wall banda. Sa pagkakaalam ko, Raymund yung pangalan nya. Ewan. Yun yung narinig kong sabi ni Sir kanina eh.

"Okay. So that's settled for now. I'll observe your attitude towards your seat-mates at itatransfer ko kayo sa susunod pag masyado kayong maingay." Nyoork nyoork. Gusto ko sa harap! Ugh. Sumagot lang ng "Yes Sir." yung mga kaklase ko. Wala eh. Bad trip na ako.

"Sa ngayon, let's have the election for our classroom officers." He proclaimed.

"Isn't it too soon, Sir?" I reacted..

"The sooner the better dear.." Tss. Fine! 'Di ko nalang sya sinagot.

"Class, the floor is now open for our class president. Any nominations?"

"I highly nominate Ms. Alcantara." That's good. My best friend is nominated.. She's being nominated by Janice, by the way. Sino naman kaya ang makakalaban nya?

"Ms. Alcantara is now nominated. Any other nominations?"

"I would highly nominate Ms. Ramirez, Sir." Some girl nominated me. I think her name is Christine? But, wait--- NOMINATED ME!?

"What the!? Why me!?" I violently reacted. Well, 'di naman totally violent.

"Because she believes in you Ms. Ramirez. No one backs out. Got it?" Aba naman!

"But I--"

"No one backs out. Once you are nominated, let it be. Now, shut it." Wow. Just wow. I have my right, right? At bakit ganito ang treatment nya sa amin ngayon? Bakit napakastrikto nya? Tss. So there.. Wala na akong nagawa. Kainis!

"I move to close the nomination." Wika ng kaklase kong lalake na hindi ko matandaan ang pangalan. Sorry naman..

They closed the nominations and we are also done with the presentation of the nominees. So seryoso sila? Kaming dalawa lang maglalaban? Ang galing ha.. Kaming mag-best friend pa talaga. We are on to the voting stage..

"Who's in-favor of Ms. Alcantara?" Tanong ni Sir Adviser. At tumaas ng kamay ang one-third sa aming klase. Great. Just great. So does this mean that the rest are on me?

"How 'bout for Ms. Ramirez?" And then, there.. The rest of the class raised their right hand. Oh my God! It's such an honor to be their class president! Note the sarcasm..

"I think it's obvious then.. The new class president of the Crystal section, Ms. Ramirez.." Yay! Woooh! Hooray! I'm sooooo happy. Really! And again, I'm being sarcastic. So what am I gonna do? Celebrate? Tss.

"Ms. Ramirez," He called me out. What do you want!? If only I could shout those words at him. I could. But I wouldn't.. "Come and continue the election." Oh, so that's what I'm supposed to do this time? Great! But I admit, I love to feel important. But sometimes, being important is really tiring. I know how it feels because I've been there. When we were in our second year years.

I got up with my lazy ass and went to the front. As soon as I got there, I hurriedly finished the election. It was kinda tiring because you have to repeatedly say, "Any more nominations?", "Please be serious when nominating someone.", and lastly, "Who's in-favor of "who"?".. And goodness! You have to count and count and count! Isn't it the best job!? Note the sarcasm again.. Wait. What's with me and the sarcastic comments? Ugh.
