Chapter 2: The Encounter

Shit. Seriously? This is how my first day of school is going to kick off? Nice. 

Awhile ago, I was just preparing myself for our next encounter. But I wasn't expecting it would be this soon!

He's walking towards me with a playful smile planted on his lips. Calm down Sapph.. Calm down. He's just a jerk. Just a jerk..

So, he's in his Senior Year.. Kaya pala ang lakas ng loob nyang tawagin akong stupid. May ipagmamalaki rin pala. Tss.

So what if he belongs to the first section? Which is admired by all when you're at the first section during senior high.

So what if there are girls who's crowding at him? Well, given the fact that he's oozingly gorgeous.

SO WHAT IF HE'S SO CLOSE TO PERFECTION!?

"Hey. What's wrong with you? Star struck?"

Wait. What?

I immediately snapped back on my senses. Geez. Nasa harap ko na pala 'tong ugok na 'to? Di ko man lang napansin.

"What the--!? Star struck? Sayo!? Please lang, maawa ka sa sarili mo." I rolled my eyes irritatingly at him. I'm surprised that I replied to him the way I wanted to. Buti nalang madali ko syang nasagot.

Nang nasabi at nagawa ko na yun, may narinig akong bulungan..

Can this day get any worse?

"God~ she dares to say that to him?"

"Tsk. What a shameless girl." Puminting ang tenga ko dahil medyo malinaw yun.

That's why I faked a cough and said, "Slut," sabay tingin sa kanya. Nakuha naman yata nya agad kaya sumama yung tingin nya sa akin. That's what you get from messing up with me.

But, what? Sino daw? Sana nilakasan nya nalang.

Good to hear that comment. Ngayon, naririnig ko na yung kanilang pinagsasabi. Malapit lang sila sa akin.

"Yeah, she's a Ramirez. The heiress."

I totally wanna yell that to them, but not today.. Not yet. I'm being bitchy, aren't I? The hell I hate this. Maybe I've changed. A lot.

After those nonsense noise, nagsalita nanaman sya..

"You know what? I don't care. You're a nobody to me."

Tatalikod na sana sya ng magsalita ako ulit at humarap sya sa akin..

"And the hell I care about you! Thanks for ruining my day Jerk! And yes, that was again, a compliment." I flashed my sweetest smile at him and started continuing to walk going to my class, just like a boss.

I thought he wouldn't say a thing. Nagkamali nanaman ako. May tama pa ba akong mahulaan sa araw na 'to?

"Well, thank you for that. And you know what? I don't have time for you miss," he said, almost expressionless, "you don't know whom you're dealing with," Humakbang sya at akmang lalapit sa akin pero pinigilan ko sya.
