Chapter Twenty-Two: One Regret

Dee POV:

It's been almost a month since YN and Trey broken and he has been trying to talk to her, but she rejects him. Her phone starts ringing and I sigh loudly.

Me: Can you please answer that damn phone?

YN: I don't feel like talking to him and he knows it.

Me: I don't blame you if you are still mad at him, but at least tell him to stop calling because he is disturbing my peace!

YN: Why don't you answer it then?

Me: Because I will hurt his feelings.

YN: I wouldn't mind; he hurt mine. He will be alright.

I sigh and go downstairs to watch TV. I flip through the channels and see Trey pop on the screen.

Me: Oh I just can't wait to see what this will be about.

I say sarcastically as Lexi walks down.

L: What are you talking about?

Me: Trey is on TV.

I say with no emotion.

L: Are you lying to me?

She sits down next to me and watch the show with me.

H: Ok, we have questions that we picked from Twitter. Are you ready Mr. Trey Songz?

T: Bring it on.

H: Alright, first question. Have you ever had love at first sight on a fan?

T: No, not really. I mean I would feel some type of way towards some, but I never had love at first sight.

Me: Why the hell are you lying?

L: Dee, shut up and let the man speak.

I roll my eyes as I continue watching.

H: Next question, how can a girl get Trey Songz attention?

T: By not paying me any.

They both laugh as I roll my eyes.

T: I am always around women. Seeing a beautiful lady that doesn't pay me, as Trey Songz, attention is something that can get my attention. That makes me think that if we talk, she might want to know the real me.

H: Take notes ladies, I'm helping you out.

He smiles.

H: Alright, last question. What is one thing in your life that you regret doing?

T: That's a good question.

She laughs as he thinks.

H: That's one of the most picked questions on Twitter.

T: Well, actually recent, I cheated on my girlfriend and she broke up with me.

H: Oh really, would you mind telling us more about it?

T: We were in a secret relationship for about three years and I can honestly say that this girl is very special to me. I broke her heart, and if I could take that back, I definitely would.

H: Wow, she must have really impacted you on a personal level.

T: Yeah, I was able to be myself around her and she wouldn't care or judge me.

H: How come it was a secret relationship?

T: She didn't want the relationship to be public, and I respect her wishes. If I have to do this to get her back, then this is a risky step I am going to take.

I am going to be completely honest; I feel sorry for the guy. Even though I am mad at him, he is trying to get her back.

H: Well thank you for stopping by Trey and make sure you come back now.

T: Thank you for having me.

H: Give it up for Trey Songz! We will be right back after this.

The show go off as Ty and Darius walk in.

L: Y'all just missed it.

T: What happened?

L: Trey just talked about YN on TV.

T: Are you kidding me?

I rewind it to the part as they all sat down.

YN POV:

I wake up from my nap and check my phone. I know it's going to be hard, but I really think we should move on. I don't know what I'm gonna do, but I have to move on. I put my phone down and lay back down on the bed when someone knocks on my door.

Me: What?

Darius walks in and sits next to me. Me and Darius have been talking a lot lately, which is kind of weird.

D: I wish I could do something to fix your problems.

Me: If only I had someone to do that, help me move on from him.

Lexi POV:

I miss my boo, we have been texting since me and YN left. I send him a snapchat of me in my underwear to show him that I miss him. I put a tshirt on and go back downstairs and go back to watching TV.

D: Where's Darius?

T: He went to talk to YN.

D: Alright.

Me: I'm still shocked that Trey did that.

T: Same here.

Me: That is seriously brave of him.

D: I guess it was.

T: Come on, Dee, you need to stop with that.

Me: Yes, seriously.

D: I'm not saying that I feel sorry for him, but he still did wrong.

T: That was a month ago, let it go.

D: YN didn't let it go, so why should I? I'm just helping her move on. Get off of my back!

YN POV:

Me: You are so stupid, but I appreciate you being here for me.

D: I am here to make you smile when another guy can't. I care about you YN.

Me: Thanks Darius, you always help me out.

D: No problem.

We hug and look at each other. I plant a kiss on his lips and back away. He pulls me close to him as I wrap my arms around his neck, laying down on the bed.
