"Wow! I can see the Big Ben from here, daddy!" The little girl with the huge chocolate eyes smiled cheerfully.

Weird, what was that again, Big who? And, who is she anyway?

A young man before the little girl smiled; he had the beginnings of wrinkles, and yet, he still looked as handsome.

His young, aspiring brown eyes shone with tenderness and love in the little girl's direction. He flashed her an affectionate smile.

"Oh, I bet you can?" he pulled the petite figure of the young girl towards him, and placed her on his lap.

The girl had short brown hair, and was nibbling on a pink cotton candy while sitting over her dad's lap, as she looked from the window of the high Ferris wheel towards the clock tower which stood tall and proud some heights and miles away.

The Ferris wheel was slowly moving, and the cab the girl and her father were in was not actually vacant, no, it was rather quite crowded.

And, yet, it surprisingly felt like they were the only people in the cab.

In their small, peaceful world, they were gazing outside the windows of the cab and towards the Big something tower.

"Why didn't mom come though, daddy?" the little girl shifted over her father's lap, while he simply tightened his gentle grip around her.

"Oh don't sweat it, sweet love," he smiled at her, "Mommy's waiting for us down, because she's scared of high places!"

The little girl just hummed, and then shifted her attention back towards the gigantic clock tower.

The darkness of the night was displayed to full force as the city and the gigantic clock tower's lights glowed more than ever.

Lights glittered in the solitude of the city, and the songs of Christmas could be heard from all around.

The little girl giggled at the huge clock in the huge tower slowly; as she watched its hands move in different speed levels.

"Can time ever be stopped, Daddy?" the little girl questioned innocently, and softly.

The father went silent, and his features suddenly started somehow... fading?
He then sighed.

"Why are you asking, my dear?" his gentle voice came.

"B-Because there comes a time where a person does not want a moment to end... Ever!" she retorted, innocently.

The father chuckled, and his chuckling voice suddenly grew distant, as his features seemed, by marvelous ways, disappearing from the picture.

"I do not know, my lovely Cherry," he started, gently.

....Cherry?

"But I personally think the beauty of a moment could be because of its rarity." he voiced, thoughtfully.

He finally sighed, and his features disappeared completely.

"However, some moments last forever," his final words came.

"In our memory."

.......

A soft gasp escaped me, and I straightened slowly in the bed I was lying in.
