Briona POV
I awoke from my nap and observed that it seemed a lot darker than it was supposed to be. I originally planned to sleep for an hour or no more than 2 but I looked over at my clock and realized I it was 7pm. 5 hours of sleep, Jesus, it felt good as hell though. I just said Jesus and hell in the same sentence. I did it again. Shit.
I motioned for a quick repentance prayer and rushed downstairs in my underwear wondering if my hoes were still here. And they were, of course. I stood on the last step leaning over the railing and saw Trent knocked out leaning on Tonaiya who was also sleeping with the simpsons playing. I chuckled at how adorable they looked with all their little slob and stuff and walked over to the couch.
I took a picture and pulled at the remote that was still wrapped in her hands, and turned the TV off. Immediately she woke up and snatched it back while glaring at me, "aye ma'am, ain't nobody sleeping, and if that picture end up anywhere we fightin," she nudged Trent with her shoulder and when he didn't wake up she slapped him on the right cheek.
He woke up with a mug on his face, "girl what the hell you hitting sleeping black people for? Don't you know that will get you fucked up?" She looked at him irritated but with a blank face as I stood back and took a sit on a bar stool. "You lucky I didn't punch you in yo mouth for slobbering on me and shit," she stood up observing the stains of saliva, some wet and some dried. "Eww," Trent stared at her arm with a look of disgust and I snickered.
"Nigga ew? It's yo spit! And what you laughing for? You can get some too!" She ran at me and I jumped off the stool almost falling causing it to wobble. Trent laughed and she glared at him making his eyes grow big, "come on boo, don't let her nasty ass touch you or imma have to disappear on both of y'all." I called out for him on the middle stairs and we both ran up, Tonaiya followed behind in slow motion, purposely pushing her arm in front of her." "Bitch you look like a zombie!" Trent screamed, "well this zombie bout to spread YOUR virus."
I ran into the guest bathroom and he followed shutting the door, but like stupid asses we didn't push on it, so she bust the door open without even turning the knob. "Bitch if you-," she growled at me before I could finish and I made a stank look. She was taking this game a little bit too far. Crazy ass.
Trent distracted her doing a really bad series of dances and I turned the knob for cold water. While she was occupied and looking confused as hell, I cupped some water in my hands and launched it at her. The spit slipped off with the water but she had a new twinkle of revenge in her eyes, "Oh it's on," she squinted her eyes at me and everyone began throwing water.
"Girl! you got my hair wet!" I rolled my eyes and screamed. Her face turned up and I returned the favor.
I actually didn't care, it wasn't even straightened. It was just getting cold as hell and I was shivering in my underwear. "Whatever, you can fix or whatever for the party anyway," she eyed me and Trent stood beside me shaking like he was a finalist on Dancing with the Stars. I tried to laugh but it was for real too cold for that shit.
"Ohh noo, party? When did I say I was going to a party," I crossed my arms and blocked her from leaving. "You didn't I did," she pushed me out of the way and walked to my room pulling out a drawer that had just her clothes. I shoved a dry towel in his face and speed walked into my room. "You look like that lady that was doing the thot walk on the track thang," Trent teased as he dried himself off. "Don't make me give you your very own ice bucket challenge thing, you really gon be shaking then," he closed his lips into his mouth and I smirked.
"Like I was saying, why are y'all so obsessed with me going out? I can do everything I need at home. Eat. Drink. Sleep. Watch Netflix." She pulled out some underwear and an outfit for herself and stood up. "I said go out, you go out, I'm not discussing this anymore," I looked to Tre for assistance but he was picking out his clothes.
