"Thanks again for this......" I trailed off because I forgot her name again.
"Liv." She repeated for about the millionth time that day.
I nodded, clicking my fingers. "Liv, I've got to remember that." I said, fixing my shirt which showed that worked there.
A week had passed since Damon and I made it 'home'. Most of the time, I spent in my room trying to think of ways that I could help or contact Kai. Nothing worked and I was going insane, Damon saw it and decided that I get a job to distract myself.
So I got a job from Liv at a small bar. Damon introduced to some of his friends and his brother.
I ran my hand through my hair and readjusted my skirt. One of Damon's friends, Caroline, instantly befriended me and she took me shopping because I had no clothes.
"Look like you've got your first customer." I heard Liv say.
Zapping away from my thoughts, I looked at a guy with blonde hair and green eyes, sitting at a table. I gave her a smile. "Wish me luck."
Liv chuckled. "Good luck."
I walked over to him. "Hi, how can I help you?"
He looked at me, his eyes traveling up and down and I couldn't help but roll my eyes while I kept my false smile. "I'll just have a double Whiskey, neat." He said, I nodded and scribbled it down.
"Anything else?"
He ran his hand through his hair. "No thank you, dear."
"Alright then." I flashed another fake smile before walking back to the bar to make his drink.
"His kind of cute." Liv whispered when I reached the bar to make the drink.
I looked at her then the man, then back at her. "Are we looking at the same person?"
She laughed, nodding her head. "What's wrong?" Her eyebrows raised. "You seeing someone?"
"I see a lot of people. That's what eyes are for."
Liv rolled her eyes. "You know you what I mean."
I shrugged. "It's complicated."
"Please you haven't been with anyone sin-" She stopped herself.
"Since who?" I wondered, raising my eyebrows with confusion. She shook her head. "Who was I with, Liv?"
She didn't reply. "It doesn't matter, Ra-Riley."
I fused my eyebrows. "What were you going to call me?"
"Nothing."
I turned around to face her, my arms folded. "Liv tell me."
Her eyes remained focused on the bar. "Riley, it's nothing don't worry."
"Fine." I huffed, shaking my head. "And why is that guy staring at me?"
Liv snorted a laugh. "Maybe he thinks you're pretty."
I scoffed. "I know I'm beautiful Liv." I replied, leaving to give the man his drink.
I couldn't help but smile myself as I set the glass in front of the man. He thanked me with a grin. I nodded and walked back to Liv. She was still laughing and I pulled out my phone.
Damon and his brother, Stefan, had bought me a load of new things to help me settle in with reality. It helped me a lot and they even allowed me to stay with them, most since I refused to move when Damon tried to kick me out.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the house that we stayed at in the prison world since Mystic Falls had a spell casted over it. The spell banned all supernatural beings entry. My mind wondered to how Kai and Bonnie were doing. I hoped they were both still alive, since they didn't like each so much, actually scratch that, they hated each other.
