{ Madeline's P.O.V. }
I flutter open my eyes as I'm awoken to a disturbing noise that seems to be coming from the kitchen. My body is aching since I fell asleep on this compressed couch. After a couple of minutes of letting my crystal blue orbs adjust to the surrounding, I come to my senses realizing I slept over at Jenny's.
I eventually swing the furry, purple blanket I was wrapped around in, over the side of the brown, leather couch. The mystery person in the kitchen happened to be Heather. It seemed like Heather and I were the only two up at the moment. As I walked over to the kitchen area, I pass by a very drowsy Derek who has one arm slung over the back, and one arm cuddling a pillow.
A small giggle escapes my plump lips, as I pass by. Heather must've heard me as she glanced towards me as she was stirring mixture of batter in a small blue bowl.
"Whatcha making?" I question her, careful not to wake anyone else in a deep slumber.
"Blueberry muffins," She states, while still continuously stirring the batter.
"Oooh. Yummy!" I make my way down the darkened hallway, heading towards the bathroom. Passing by the guest room, the door is cracked open a bit. I stop in my tracks, and decide to have a small peek inside. Holding in my almost fit of laughter, I see Scott lying over the top of Alex in the floor.
As I back away from the door, I continue my journey to the bathroom.

As I look at my refelection, I feel relived I was the second one up because I look absolutely horrid. My hair looks like some rabid animal had fun sleeping, while my mascara made me look like I had gotten a black eye, from rubbing my eyes in my slumber.
Under the sink, I discover a clean, light pink, washcloth. I turn the focet on, making sure it is not to hot, and not too cold. After about two minutes of scrubbing my face lightly, my leftover makeup is long gone.
Since cleansing my face was finished, I found one of Jenny's hairbrushes in the top drawer on the cabnet, and brushed out my hair. I'm pretty sure I'll have a headache coming along later this evening considering how much pain I went through just to brush out my hair.
Before I left the bathroom, I noticed my lips; that's when everything that happened the night before came rushing back into memory. I shook the thought away, and went to go see if anyone has gotten up.
Walking back into the living area, a lot more noise was exposed, so I figure some of the guys are up. After I make my way to the living area, Derek is awake, and so is Jenny.
"Hey guys," I say, while plopping down onto the couch, sitting next to Jenny.
"Hey Maddy," Derek said. He wasn't exactly looking at me when he said that, but instead was continuosly poking Heather in the side trying to get her to give him an early blueberry muffin. I just smirked, until Jenny brought up last night.
"Did you two ever. . . you know, talk about it?" She questions me with a whisper to her tone.
I hesitate for a moment, knowing Alex and I would have to talk about it eventually.
"No. . ." I start off, "Derek told me Alex said that he didn't mean to actually do it though. . ."
She stares at me for a moment, and lets out a small sigh. She was about to continue on with our conversation, until Scott and Alex came into the living area, taking a seat on the couch across from us.
Jenny saves me from the situation by turning on the television. We end up concluding on watching Awkward on MTV.
"Muffins are ready!" Heather calls out from the kitchen.
We all get up and grab a muffin or two. Derek, Heather, Jenny, Scott, and Alex all take a seat at the island loacted in the middle of the kitchen. I didn't feel like sitting with all of them, so I grabbed a napkin, and took a seat on the middle couch.
"Maddy, come sit with us," Scott calls out. I turn my head, and nod a small 'No', and continue back to my breakfast.
Once I'm finished, I get up to go to Jenny.
"Hey, Jenny?"
"Yeah?"
"Will you tell Alex that we need to talk?"
