.....................................Happy reading ;)
Jacob hadn't spoken to Abby since the incident and Malik left. Well,he really didn't go anywhere. He moved a couple houses down on Jacob's street.
She missed him and Aurora. Abby felt as though a piece of her was missing, like a great memory she wanted to hold on to but could only remember a snippet of it.She was tired of Jacob treating her like the plague. Usually he was drawn to her like bees to honey.
They were the only friends she had, they were family quite frankly. So for them to begin gradually slipping out of her reach was too painful for Abigail to bare.
She already had abandonment issues they were just adding to the big pile of crap Abby had to suck up and deal with. All on her own.
Abby stood nervously in front of Jacob's colossal house thinking about knocking but not actually putting her thoughts into commands.
"Abby," Sasha shouted in the hall crutching the door with her foot.
"Are you looking for Jacob?"
"Ah,um,no?"Abby said as if it was a question guilt eating at her bones straight to her very soul.
" I'm sure you are,come in."Sasha said emphasising the 'you are,'part.
Sasha opened the door wide enough for everyone to see Abby if they didn't hear Sasha practically screaming her name already."You shouldn't give your prince charming a hard time Abby".Sasha said as if Abby was changing the perfect ending to the fairytale in her head.
"Stop reading those fairtytales Ash. They'll screw up the expectations you have of the world."Abby said patting her hair.
"It doesn't hurt to dream a little, maybe that's why grown ups have so much problems. They don't have an imagination."Sasha smirked tapping her temple.
"Don't do that, you remind me of your brother."
"Do what?" She asked confused.
"And which one?" Her innocent smirk grew into a wicked grin.
"You all will be the death of me."Abby drawled rolling her eyes at this fact.
They just knew how to make her want to either jump over a bridge or strangle them with a thin piece of flexible wire.Abby strolled further into the house hearing Aurora's giggles.
She even forgot to ask if Jacob was home. But she really didn't care she was over the situation. She greeted everyone in the vicinity of her and took Aurora in her arms."I've missed you darling," Abby declared spinning around with the baby in her arms.
She brought a snack for herself and Aurora and went to watch a movie in a empty room with nothing but a Television in it.
She grabbed couple blanks and cushions on the way so that they'll be comfy.Abby chose a comedy and half way through the movie Sasha joined them bringing a snack basket full of snacks and a couple more DVDs.
"I'm leaving tonight with dad so I wanted to make sure I spend some time with my brothers' girlfriend before I leave." Sasha said smiling at me.
"Not to burst your 'cute' little bubble or anything but I'm not your brothers' girlfriend."
"Whatever you say." She sang skipping out of the room leaving her snack wrappers behind.
Aurora was sound asleep after staying awake for the duration of three films and Sasha's excited chatter. She really was a champ.
