Jacob found out that his long time friend Elijah died in a car accident a few weeks ago and now Elijah's lawyer has summoned Jacob to a meeting which Jacob was skeptical about. He wasn't sure what to expect, therefore he brought along his sarcastic blunt student,his crazy sister, his overly sweet mother that could smother the lawyer to death if need be and his quiet perceptive father to level all the crazy out.

They were all jumbled up in the lawyer's small cozy office awaiting to hear why they were there. Abby waited as patiently as she could tuning out the world and entering her imaginary one where everything is as it should be.

The Looney meter was cranked way up.

By the time the Lawyer,Mr. Smalls began speaking there were pink bunny rabbits running around with lollipops in their mouths and Edward Scissor Hands chasing after them having a jolly good time.
Everyone else were being normal human beings,only paying attention when the lawyer looked up from the countless amount of papers,binders and envelopes on his desk.

The lawyer was short,a bit on the pudgy side and had a balding head. However he had a mischievous aura about him, one that says he wasn't just a pudgy old man,he had tricks up his sleeves.

He wasn't saying anything of importance to Abby therefore she went back to her imagination until she heard.

"As it says here, Mr. Elijah Walters has granted you,Jacob Mallory."

He paused looking up at Jacob from behind his spectacles seeing if he had fainted or gone into shock,them he began again.

"Sole custody of his five month old baby girl."

Mr. Smalls was rudely interrupted by the gasps heard in the tiny office.

"Oh my God,you are going to be a daddy!"Sasha shouted more like screamed.

She looked at Jacob then said,"Forget about you,I'm going to be an aunty!"she exclaimed happily,grinning from ear to ear. 

Jacob's mom stood with her hand on her heart and Jacob's dad sat still looking like he wanted to laugh but composed himself rather well and only let a little tear slip from the corner of his eye. While his father found this amusing Jacob looked horrified as if he had just witnessed an Elephant giving live birth.

"As I was saying,"

Mr. Smalls said sternly peering up from behind his spectacles.

"Aurora Belle Walters is your child from now on Mr. Mallory unless you're willing to give her up to Social Services."

He said this part as if he would strongly advised against doing it but he had to say it anyway.

Jacob gaped at the man unable to say a word.

Abby spoke up saying,"Forgive him,he's a little out of it today, of course he'll keep the baby as a matter of fact he would love to." she finished off smiling a serene wide toothed smile.

Then she spoke the words that would seal their fates for ever.

"May I see the baby?"

Mr. Smalls winked at Abby and spoke into the intercom bidding a lady named Sara to come to the office and bring the baby with her.

She entered the office,however Abby didn't notice anything about her only the baby she had in a bassinet. The woman placed the bassinet on the crowded desk and stepped out but not before admiring Jacob.
