Punishments

The next morning, mum called me from downstairs telling me to meet her at the dining table. I quickly got out and went to the bathroom before heading downstairs. "Good morning mum" I said. "Good morning sweetie I'll be at the table in a sec" she said from the kitchen. "Okay" she came and sat across from me, staring at my phone and I knew what was gonna happen. "Ariana when university is finished for the day, I want you back here by 3:30 okay, I'm giving you 20 minutes to do what you like then the other ten is for coming home." She demanded. "And you can't leave this house unless your going out with me or going to uni, or your sport. Your not allowed any friends over and can't go see them without checking with me" I was a bit confused. "but mum Lexi is here, you let her sleep last night." I said, "Yes but I know how worried she was about you when you were gone so I let her stay." She added. "What about Christie, she wants to come and see me today she missed me too" I asked. "Hmm I suppose she can come over just for today since it's the weekend but no other friends okay" I nodded my head. "Thanks mum" "oh and in taking your phone off you when your at home, you can take it to school just in case something happens and you need to call me" she added. "But mum your already banning me from seeing my friends can't I at least text them" she tilted her head. "Don't you see them at uni" she asked. "Not all of them just a couple, I still talk to some of my high school friends" I answered. "No you can't have your phone Ariana, and next week your going to Florida to spend time with your grand parents" I rolled my eyes and waited for the next punishment. "Mum you know how sorry I am and your giving me such a big punishment" I said with a sad face. "I know but you need to accept the fact that what you did was wrong" she replied. "And this is all going to happen for a month" I opened my mouth. "A whole month" I questioned. "Yes now get ready and I want you to go to the shop and pick something's up for me." She handed me a list and I got changed then left. I pulled out my phone from my pocket and sent a message to Jai

Me - hey can you meet me at Coles on the corner of my street please.

Jai - be there soon

I decided to text Christie as well and let her know to come over soon

Me - hey Christie I'm just heading to Coles to get some thing a for my mum but when I get back you can come over okay I'll text you

Christie - okay see ya then.

When I arrived at Coles,bJai had arrived at the Same time. "Hey babe what's up" he asked. "Well I'm grounded for a month and I'm not allowed to have anyone over or have my phone when I'm at home." I explained. "Oh my god I feel bad, your being punished because of me" he said rubbing his forehead. "No it's okay, really" he half smiled. "Well when can I see you then if your grounded." He asked grabbing my hands and locking our fingers. "Well after uni for about 20 minutes" I chuckled. "20 minutes ooh, that's gonna be hard not seeing you" he said kissing my forehead. "I know, this is why I wanted to stay with you" I frowned. "Yeah I know but you have a family that loves you, I don't, I only got the boys." He said with a frown. "So Michael he.." "Yes, he's the one who killed my parents." I looked down at the ground." I'm so sorry" he kissed my cheek. "It's okay, anyway need help shopping" he asked. "Yes please here's my mums list" we walked in and picked up all the things then paid and left the store. We packed the bags in Jai's car and he took me home. "Thanks Jai" I said as he helped me get the bags out of the car, there weren't many so I was able to take them all inside myself. "That's okay babe, I'll see you later okay" he kissed my lips and it felt incredible. We both pulled away after a minute. "Thanks, see you tomorrow?" I asked. "Yeah absolutely" he kissed me one last time before leaving. "Mum I'm home I got everything on the list." I said walking into the kitchen. "Good girl thank you" she said. "Is Christie still allowed to come over today" I asked. "Yes and Lexi is still upstairs sleeping" she said. "Okay thanks mum" I ran up to my room and Lexi had just woken up and was laying in my bed on her phone. "Good morning sleepy head" I said. "Good Morning, how long have you been up for" she asked. "I've been awake for ages, I even went to Coles and did some shopping" we both laughed as I pulled out my phone and texted Christie to come over now. My mum walked into my room. "Your phone sweetie" she said holding her hand out. I handed it to her before she went back downstairs. "So about this boy, I'm no sure you should be dating him, he's a criminal Ari" she said softly so my mum didn't hear. "It's okay Lexi, he's not gonna hurt me, he loves me and I love him. He's changed, he's not bad anymore" I said smiling. "Hmm I trust you'll make the right descision and I'm so happy for you" she said embracing me into a hug. "Thanks Lexi, he's amazing" I added. Just then there was a knock on my door and in came Christie. "Oh my god your here," I said running up and  hugging her. "Oh my god your alive" she said back.

A few hours later after I told Christie everything, Frankie, my big brother came in. He hasn't been home the whole time I have. "Oh my god Ari your finally home" he yelled running and hugging me. "Yes I am" I replied. "So what are you girls talking about." He asked. I looked over at the girls and they nodded their heads telling me I should explain everything to Frankie.

"So your dating a criminal hah? he asked. "Yeah, but he's gonna protect me and you can't tell mum" he nodded his head and pinkie promised me. "Just be careful okay." He warned. "I lived with the guy for a week and he never tried to hurt me apart from the first day and a half when he almost killed me but I explained to you what happened and yeah, he loves me" I said smiling. "Ooh someone's blushing" Frankie said. "Shut up guys." We all laughed
