Meeting the parents

ARIANA'S POV

Friday

"Also, make sure that you look presentable and display spot on table manners" we were sitting at the park and I was giving him advice on how to be accepted by my mum. We are all going out to a restaurant tomorrow night to have dinner and I'm really nervous about it. I really hope they let us be together. What if they don't like him, I haven't thought about that yet, oh god I'm getting butterflies. I mean I don't know what's not to like about Jai, he's funny, sweet, kind and very protective over me. He's perfect. "I promise you baby, I will dress in a brand new tux and be extra extra extra kind and well mannered" he smiled. "I have to be back in 5 minutes, but please don't be late tomorrow" I answered before giving him a kiss and running home. "Ariana" I heard my mum as I walked into the door. "Did you remember to remind Jai about tomorrow night" she asked. "Mum he won't forget and yes I did just in case, and he is really exited to meet you and Frankie formally" I smiled. She looked at me and seemed kinda sad. "Mum, do you think he's bad for me" I asked a little sad. "Well the news about him and his rep isn't the best obviously, I mean he's a criminal and I'm scared he's gonna hurt you but then again you say he's caring and sweet and protective of you all the time so I guess he seems like an okay person and I believe he will only care for you and let no one hurt you" she explained. "Thanks mum and he's had a tough life, this guy killed his parents when he was young and it kinda turned him that way, if his parents weren't killed by the guy, he wouldn't be the way he is today but one things for sure, he cares about his friends and family a lot and protects them from everyone, he really cares and he is very protective of me" I explained. "I'm sorry honey I guess when you put it that way, I trust him and believe he will forever keep you safe from harm" she smiled. "Oh and tomorrow please don't make it an interview okay, just be calm about it" I said. I went upstairs to bed, after giving my mum a kiss on the cheek. I can't wait for tomorrow

JAI'S POV

"I have this strange feeling something is going to go wrong tonight and those guys are gonna come after her" I explained to all the boys. I have to really prove to Ariana's family how much I love and care about her. I have to keep her safe and make sure those guys don't go near her. "Don't worry bro we will keep an eye out for anyone suspicious out side the restaurant" Luke said patting my back. I stood up and walked to the kitchen. I researched Michael but I couldn't find a single thing about him having any siblings but I have a feeling he does even though it's not on the Internet. I got into bed and tried to not think too much about it.

ARIANA'S POV

Its 6:59pm and I took one last look at my self in the mirror before heading down stairs. I walked up to my mum and she looked at me with tears in her eyes. "Oh sweetie you look absolutely gorgeous" she said admiring my incredible white dress. "Thanks mum" I said. "I think You should take a jacket" she said. I grabbed one and put it in my bag before getting into the car. "Mum please don't yell or be mean to him" I begged. "Hmm I guess I'll try my best" she half smiled. "And can you apologise to him please" I asked politely. "What for" she asked curiously. "For hitting him and kicking him" I replied frowning. "Well he deserved it" she replied staring at the road. "Mum" I yelled. "Okay okay I promise I will be nice to him okay honey" she said smiling. "I really hope this goes well mum, I'm trusting you okay" I said. "It's okay baby you can trust me" she said still not looking at me. The rest of the car ride there was quiet but we finally found a parking spot then got out and headed for the entrance. We were about 5 minutes early so we found a table to sit at as we waited for Jai to arrive. "Does he know which restaurant to come to sweetie" mum asked. "Maybe he got lost and doesn't know the way" she added. "Mum I told him the way and the restaurant, he will be here just give him time" I answered. "And he's not late by the way" I added. I heard footsteps behind me and turned around to see Jai holding flowers in his hand. I smiled at him and he smiled back handing me the flowers. I prayed to myself that Jai would be good and my mum and Frankie would be good and no fights will happen. Jai took a seat next to me and I felt butterflies flying around in my stomach.
