Yasmine:
We had arrived in Dracul in a matter of weeks. Nala was much more excited than I was. Khadij didn't feel the same to me anymore. I remember papa and mama walking together just to greet me at Amad harbor. Holding Jashiem in hand as mama would walk towards me. Those days were the brightest I've ever seen. The sand still felt the same, and the delicious Shawarma and sweet wine. I can hear the chatter of merchants and see the beautiful and mysterious eyes of the female villagers. In respect of Jashiem's death, the women in Khadij and Coor have worn dark blue veils across their faces. I decided to leave my veil at the palace, but I wore dark blue as if it were my preferred color of choice.
"Draculina!" The children would call out while running through the village. Jumping onto me and grabbing my hands. I spun around and much as I could. Watching the children laugh and smile. It made me happy to see their honest and pure faces in so much delight. "Draculina! Welcome home!"
"Shukran jazeelan." I said, before kissing the children on their heads.
"My princess." My smile brightened at the sight of my father. Of all the kings I've witness -my father always amazed me. He would sit with commoners and eat with fellow men. Not caring about his robes and jewelry. He desired his country more. Thus why no man has stolen from him. No man has threatened us and no man has harmed him. "How was your trip?"
"Fair," I said before casting my eyes on Sinbad and his companions. Sinbad, who was watching me cautiously, looked like the foreigner he was. The girls were watching him with enchanting eyes. I'm sure one of them wanted to turn him into a man by the end of his trip here. "Though I have seem to attract a few visitors."
"No matter, they're welcomed here also." He says, "why don't you and Nala go to the palace. You can tell me all about your day when I return ."
I nodded and smiled. Enjoying my months away from Sinbad, even if takes a few hours out of the day. I couldn't shake what he said to me on the boat out of my head.
He wants me...
He wants me to be his Queen.
"Welcome to Dracul." I can hear the King call. But as I look back, I can see Sinbad watching me leave.
Sinbad:
I frowned when I had seen Yasmine leaving. Where was she going? Her and Nala looked so excited to be here. All of these women were gorgeous and mysterious; but I can only see Yasmine. And to see that she's gone. I felt my soul shake. Parting with something valuable I want- is that supposed to hurt this bad?
"I see, the young prince fancies himself the princess." The King, Valtiis, said with a grin on his face.
"I wanted to get to know her more." I said. Lowering myself into a bow."I didn't know she was a princess, that must explain why she's so beautiful."
Valtiis was laughing. It was a full hearty laugh. Then he pat my shoulder so hard that it felt like my arm was out of place. "Dracul women are all beautiful, my boy. And some women are better off not knowing about."
I narrowed my eyes at the king. "You can live in my palace if you wish it."
I turned around and saw the look on my men's faces. Then we followed the king to his castle.
It was large and made with gold and glass. Nothing too flashy, and nothing too elaborate. He wasn't showing his wealth to his country. Not like most kings I've seen.
"Papa," I turned to see Yasmine in different clothing. A nice blue outfit that made her eyes grow darker under her hood. I wanted to grab her by her face a kiss her. The way her hips looked in that dress was killing me.
