After escorting the king to my father, I watched Sinbad and his motley crew wander the city. He looked sad, his hair was tied back and he wore blue instead of black. I supposed the king had let him wear our color.

"You've finally decided to wear your turban. The gold looks astonishing with the blue silk." Nala said, I nod. She stands by my side and sighs. "He's hurt that you've been with Lord Cassius all day. "

"He's been with his princess, so I need company too." I said.

"It's okay to admit it,Yas." I looked over at her in bewilderment. I felt heat swarm across my face. "You love him. You think of him just as he thinks of you. "

"Liar...!" I sneered. " the only thing I truly desire is his head. "

"Laying next to you...or right...-"

"That is enough!" I stormed out of my room. Blushing like an exhausted child during the heated summer. Nala was laughing, while catching up with me.. we were on our way to see Fidel.

"I'm just saying, when you have missions like these. It's usually done before dawn. " She grins, I rolled my eyes. "He's stolen a kiss from you,My lady. If you'd let him, I'm curious as to what else would he steal from you."

"He's stolen a kiss," we were walking down the streets. "While I've stolen the Djinn."

We are even.

It has been a while since we've seen Rayne and the child. I hear she's quite the admirer. She would listen to the exagerated stories Fidel would tell of us.

Her name was Serah. She was named after my aunt, the queen of Coor . The one who always saved me from mother's wraith by sending me to Coor. She was also the head assassin there as well. Fidelio admired her and called her his friend. I can see why he named his daughter after her.

"Your aunt was touched and sent us a golden shroud to protect her." Rayne says, I looked over at the woman and grinned. Motherhood did her wonderfully well. She hadn't had a wrinkle and her hair stayed in one place. I hope that one day I will be as fortunate as Rayne.

"I have yet to visit her, hopefully I will have time to do so." I said,Rayne cups my cheek and looks into my eyes.

"You have a look in your eyes." She examines. " Is it a boy?"

I shook my head. "No."

Rayne smiles. "You are a terrible liar. I have heard stories about a boy you could not have killed. "

"I can. " I took a look at the small crib by the window. "I just have a lot on my mind. Lord Marco of Florencia is here in Dracul, and father is intending to send me to the first man he sees."

"Ah , the curse of being a princess. " Rayne says while walking into the kitchen. "I pray that you marry a man you love. "

"As do I." I mumbled. There was a knock on the door, before it had opened ; and my heart stopped.

My Aunt Serah and Marco were conversing in the garden. Aunt Serah glanced at me,before touring the city. Marco must not have been able to see me through the curtains, but he bowed and vanished. I slowly nod to myself before turning towards baby Serah. By looking at that little girl, I've seen how beautiful she will be. How full of life and hope she is to her family - to us.

It made me wonder if my mother had thought of me this way. Did she think that I would be her Assassin? did she fantasize about being Jashiem's first and last sight before walking into the land of dreams?

"You remind me of your mother." I turned around and saw Aunt Serah behind me. " The innocent look on your face, it is beautiful."

I nod, before looking back at the girl. Aunt Serah sits down next to me. Her hand in mine. "I have visit Jashiem's grave before I've came here. I've told him many stories."
