Chapter 3: Not ready

Jett (P.O.V) *Jett's pic*

-"Well look who's early",Dylan said
-"Haha, hey Dylan", I replied
-"Are you sick?"
-"No lol why?"
-"Gurl YOU. ARE. EARLY, schools starts at 8"
-"So?", I said
-"It's 7:15, dummy"
-"Okay can a girl like me can't come early to school?" I said giving here a look like 'No I'm not supposed to be here,not this hour'.
-"Neeh, you, my friend, you are in love"
-"Whaaat?! No, never, I replied
-"Come on Jett, just that Brett broke up with you doesn't mean you'll be forever alone"
-"Whatever, Dylan", I said remembering what happened that day.

The bell rings and I'm on my way to class but when I enter the first thing I do is look at Colin's sit, but he wasn't there.
-"Mrs. Lu, can you please come to my classroom after lunch?", Mr. Wilde said.
My heart was pounding, but I didn't know why so I forgot about it.

In Mrs. Wilde classroom:
-"You want to see me Mrs. Wilde?",I ask
-"Yes Mrs. Lu, please take a seat"
What is he going to say? I feel uncomfortable right now.
-"Jett, I have something to tell you. It's about Colin Vang"
-"What's wrong with him", I said worried but trying not to show it.
-"I don't really remember what he has...."
Wait!!! Has?
"but I just know that he's...in the hospital, Lu"
-"What? Hospital? Why?", I worried most.
-"Yes, he needs blood donation. It's has to do something about his birth not having a lot of blood. He's in Stanvard's Hospital"
-"Thanks, but why are you telling me this? I mean I think he has more friends around the school who would like to know",I said
-"You can't fool anyone Mrs. Lu", he stands up and leave. Leaving me thinking the worse.
I don't know what to do, im so confused. If I go he thinks I'm in love with him and if I don't go he would think i'm the worse "friend?". I start crying out of nowhere, such a long time I don't cry but now I am. I ran home, cleaning my tears so my mom wouldn't know.

At home:
-"Mom?", I scream
-"In the kitchen",mom answer
-"Hey mom, I just wanted to....."
-"Jett? Are you crying?", she ask. She didn't even let me finish, but yes my eyes still wet.
-"No mom, I fell and it hurt so bad that I cry, a little", I lied.
-"Honey, whatever is happening you can tell me" my mom hug me and I start crying.
-"Can you please take me to Stanvard's Hospital?"
-"Why? Do you have a fever?"
-"No mom, it's Colin a friend for school. He lives in the neighbourhood and he's really sick"
-"But Jett, I don't know this guy"
-"MOM, please. I'm begging you. When so I ask you for something? This is the first time, please take me there, please mom", a river of tears came down my face.
-"Okay Jett, just relax for a minute and we go"

I ran to my room put some clean clothes and I just know this that something in Colin's window was hanging,.but I couldn't see much. I open my window, a "Good Morning, Mrs. Lee" sign was handing there.

-"Time to go, Lu", mom screamed
-"Coming", I replied
-"Where are you guys going?", ask Maylee
-"Mind your own business", I said
-"What? So sad your little 'Romeo' is in the hospital", she laughs
-"YOU KNEW?!"
-"Hello? I'm popular, of course I knew, even Dylan"
-"Dylan knew?", I hum
-"Uh..that's what I said. Now go, I'm going to talk to the Captain of the Football team, Chad"

I can't believe my 'best friend' knew. While I was on my way to the hospital I texted Dylan...
J-"Why didn't you tell me?"
D-"About what?"
J-"Colin"
D-"Which Colin?"
J-"The only 'Colin' who bothers me everyday"
D-"Vang? You know him?"
J-"You don't saay..."
D-"I'M SO SORRY, I THOUGHT YOU TALK ABOUT 'COLIN STEWART' THE MATH GENIUS"
J-"Uh....eww!"
D-"I'm sorry Jett, I didn't knew"
J-"Whatever, you were confused. Besides I'm on my way to the hospital to see him"
D-"Okay, tell me everything when you get back. Luv U gurl and I'm sorry"
J-"Love you too"

In the hospital:

-"Hi, were here to see Colin Vang",my mom said
-"Yeah, Mr Vang. Room B-45, one person please", the nurse said
-"Go, I'll wait in the lobby",mom said

I start walking through the hallways thinking about how is he going to react or what he's going to say. I was in front of room B-45, I paralysed for a moment and enter..
-"Hey Mrs. Lee, missed me?"
