“Kat!” His voice was screaming.
“Kat! Listen to me; you need to stay away from him.” The voice pleaded.
I caught a glimpse of his face. His brown worried eyes piercing into mine.“Jake..?!” I rolled his name of my tongue slowly. I felt myself repeating his name over and over whimpering.
“Who?” A voice boomed over me. But this time it wasn’t Jakes it was Brady.
Carefully I raised my eyelids and bit my tongue.
I held my breath, and tried to avoid eye contact. It seemed I was trying to hide a lot from Brady ever since he acted like he owned me.
I didn’t want to be owned. Atleast not by him anymore.
Brady’s eyes shown a new shade of red and he gripped harshly onto my shoulders.
“Ow!” I yanked away from his grip and pushed myself farther into the bed frame.
“Why where you crying out his name.” Brady hissed, a deep scowl on his face.
“I-I I.. Don’t know.”
“Sure you do. Now why where you calling his name.”
I looked back up, my eyes pleading. “Brady I Swear I don’t know.”
A dark shadow passed over his face, and I saw his figure dashing all over the room.
“Wh-what are you doing?” I could feel my heart speed up again. Usually when we got in an argument he got really abusive and mad.
“Punishing you. You ungrateful….” He stopped talking and before I realized what was going on my. "Brady NO!" But it was to late my hands and feet where tied up and hooked to the bed post.
I was going to scream and yell at him, but the words caught in my throat. Was Jake warning me about Brady? Who else would it be?
I took in a shaky breath and closed my eyes tight.
“I’ll be back for a drink in an hour.” He spat out as he turned toward the wooden door and pulled it shut.
I tried struggling but it seemed the more I pulled the tighter the ropes got.
The tears started streaming down my face. He never wanted me all he wanted was my blood. I was his walking refrigerator .
“Pss! Kat!”
My head shot up, and I looked around finally bringing my gaze to the window.
“Jake!” The yelp left my mouth before I could stop it. I never felt so happy to see him in my life no matter if he attacked me or not.
His brown eyes locked with mine, and a sheepish smiley crept onto his face.
“We need to talk.” He whispered.
I nodded slowly, and he slipped through the window.
“Where’s Brady?” He whispered, shaking his head as he started untying me.
I winced when he flashed out his fangs and bit through the rope. “I don’t really know he just said he would be back in an hour for..”
“For a drink I guess.” He hissed, his voice disgusted.
I tilted my head to the side, “Um Jake.. you tried to attack me in the forest so.."
He stopped gnawing at the rope and looked up at me. Confusion in his eyes.
“What are you talking about? I never attacked you.”
“Yes you did.”
“Kat i swear. I didn't even see you that day."
"Yes Jake, you where taking me into the forest. And i told you that vampires wherent real, you got pissed ran away than i heard a voice so i came running after you and bu-bam there you are about to kill me until brady showed up and wrestled you to the ground making you run away." The story spilled out of me before i even sat back and realized what i had just said.
I examined Jakes face carefully he had a very high cheek bones, while the guy in the forest had barely noticeable ones. Jake had perfect luscious lips and the guy in the forest had slightly thin ones.
A gasp escaped my lips, the guy in the forest wasn't my Jake.
