Secrets Kept (Pearl x Peridot)

Gem-napped

"We have to stop them before Pearl is taken to Homeworld!" Peridot cries.

Garnet nods. "Alright. What do you suggest we do in order for us to get her back?"

Peridot looks towards the ship and sees Yellow Diamond and Pearl walking towards it.

"We have to catch them!"

As soon as she says those words, everyone takes off to the ship.

"PEARL!" Garnet yells.

Peridot hides behind Garnet's leg as Yellow Diamond looks to them with a sour expression.

"Pearl! You don't need to do this! Think about what you're doing!" Garnet motions Pearl to look at the ship.

Pearl looks to Garnet with tears in her eyes and looks back to Yellow Diamond.

"Pearl... Please come back. The Crystal Gems are not the same without you!" Steven mutters.

Pearl looks to Steven and tears roll down her cheeks. "I can't go with you Yellow Diamond! I need to protect Steven!"

Yellow Diamond frowns. "Then I'll just have to TAKE YOU!"

She grabs Pearl's wrist and drags her towards the ship. Garnet and Amethyst charge to them.

"NO!"

"There's no way you'll take her from us!"

"TOO LATE YOU SHAMEFUL GEM SHARDS!" Yellow Diamond swoops her hand up and puts up a force field around her and Pearl. Garnet and Amethyst bounce back once they hit the field.

"Argh, dammit..." Garnet and Amethyst mutter.

"Guys!" Steven runs over to them as tears roll down her face.

Peridot collapses on the sand in a ball and cries. Pearl turns to her and sees her.

"PERIDOT!" she yells.

"P-pearl?" Peridot puts her head up.

"YOU NEED TO HEL-" Yellow Diamond grabs Pearl's cheekbone and squeezes.

"That's enough out of you." she smirks.

"STOP IT!" Peridot yells, her voice choking.

Pearl tries her hardest to come out of her grasp but it's too strong.

"To Homeworld!" Yellow Diamond walks to the ship and activates it.

"NO!" Peridot finally gets to her feet and runs towards the ship, taking off.

"Peridot!" Amethyst, Garnet and Steven yell.

Peridot summons a grappling hook with her limb enhancers and shoots it, hanging onto one of the fingers on the ship.

"We can't just stand here!" Garnet yells.

With that said, Amethyst summoned her whip and lashes it onto Peridot's foot. Garnet and Steven grab the whip and try to pull.

"STOP! I HAVE TO SAVE PEARL!" Peridot yells from the sky.

"But we don't want you to do it alone!" Steven cries.

Peridot looks down and sheds a couple tears. "I don't want you to risk your life! I got her into this mess and now it's my job to get her..." she dismantles the foot Amethyst's whip is tied on, "...out of it!"

"Peridot!" Steven yells.

"Good luck..." Garnet mumbles.
