It’s been a week since that incident in the bar happened. After that incident, hindi ko na nakita si Saab. Siguro she was traumatized dahil sa nangyari, and I can’t help but to be worried.
It happened during that night nung manalo kami in our game against the Archers. We decided to celebrate it sa bar where we used to hang out. I never thought na magkikita ulit kami ni Saab in that day, and in an unexpected situation.
Buti na nga lang talaga at nandun ako. I guess I was meant to be in that place at in that same time, kung hindi, baka kung ano na ang nangyari kay Saab.
“Teng!” tawag ni coach.
I wiped my sweat before I stood up before I made my way to coach. “Ano po yun coach?”
“May nag-hahanap sa’yo sa labas.” He said. “Puntahan mo muna, mukhang may importanteng sasabihin eh.”
I nodded. “Sige po coach.”
Nag-madali na akong lumbas ng gym. Curious ako kung sino ang naghahanap sa akin. Lalo pa at nabangit ni coach na mukhang importante yung sasabihin.
I stopped in my tracks when I recognized the person in front of me. “Gab.”
“Jeric.” He said.
“Na-padaan ka yata?” I asked.
He nodded. “Pinaki-usapan ako ni Saab.”
May kinuha siyang folded paper sa bulsa niya tapos inabot sa akin. “Basahin mo nalang.”
“By the way, kumusta na siya?” I asked.
He heaved out a heavy sigh. “Medyo okay na, pero, napapanaginipan pa rin niya yung nangyari.”
I looked at him intently. “Uhh, pwede ko ba siyang dalawin?”
He nodded. “I’m sure matutuwa yun.”
“Sige, I have to go.” He said. “Thank you ulit.”
I just nodded. Umalis din siya leaving me with the folded paper he handed awhile ago. To Jeric.

I just would want to thank you again for saving me from that bastard. Seriously, hindi ko alam kung paano mag-papasalamat sa’yo. I know my thank yous wouldn’t be enough, so kung may kailangan ka and if you’d need my help I’ll be there right away. Thank you talaga Jeric. Kung hindi dahil sa’yo, I could’ve… I don’t know what could have happened, and I swear I wouldn’t want to think of it. As much as I would want to say all of these personally, hindi ko magawa. I’m still trying to forget about what had happen. Na phobia na yata akong lumabas ng bahay after that incident. Pero pag-okay na ulit ako, I’ll definitely see you personally and say these thing to you personally. Basta, thank you talaga. Kahit forever pa akong mag-thank you sa’yo, I’ll do it. Jeric, you’re my savior.
