Chapter 3 ~ the first date

Our first date was tonight I was so exited. Maya can over to help me get ready so that I looked perfect for tonight.
"Maya what's should I wear"
"You should wear this beautiful blue sequin dress with a silver heart necklace and sliver heels." She told me
"Okay! How souls I do my hair" I asked her
" you want something simple I would curl it am pin a peace back with a sparkly bony pin."
"Okay I love it"
I started to get ready I put on my dress and the necklace to make sure it looked good. It did. My mom curled my hair for me while Maya dos my makeup.
She dis something simple but still had some color to it. I wore my favorite kiwi mango lipgloss. I put on my heal and walked down stairs and waited for Lucas to pick me up.
"Mom how do I look" I asked her as we walked down stairs.
"Like your father won't let you leave the house" she told me
We had just gotten down stairs when the doorbell rang. Lucas was here! Maya handed me my phone and my purse before I got the door.
"Hey" I said
"Hey! You look amazing" he told me
"Thanks so do you" I told him
"You ready?"
"Yep"
"Wait I want a picture of you two." My mom said.
"Okay" we both said
We posed for a picture and then walked to the subway.
"So here are we going" I asked him
"I thought we would go eat dinner at your favorite restraint. Then we would go to the movies and then after the movies we would go get a drink or something at Topangas and just talk." He answered
"That sounds amazing"
We arrived at the restraint and got our table the waiter had come to get our order
"What can I get for you two?" The waiter asked
Lucas ordered first then he ordered for me.
"You know my order." I said
"Of course I do its your favorite."
"Your amazing" I said giggling
Once we had finished dinner we walked over to the movie theater that was across the street.
"To tickets to the scorch trials" Lucas said
"I've been wanting to see that movie how did you know."
"Well... Maya told me."
"Oh Maya." I said laughing "I can't wait"
We walked into the theater and got our seats. The movie was starting I couldn't wait. About half way through the movie Lucas put his arm around me. I leaned in and lauded my head on his shoulder. I held his hand that was around me. When the movie ended we got back onto the subway.
"Darn there's not enough seats" I said
"Here you can sit on my lap"
He told me
"Awe Lucas that's so sweet but it's okay I can stand"
"No I insist"
"Are you sure"
"Im sure"
"Okay" so I sit on his lap as the rode back to our stop. Once we got there we walked over to Topangas and got smoothies.
"So what do you want to talk about." I asked him
"Anything! Is there anything you want to know about me." He said
"Ya do you miss Texas" I asked him
"I do but I'm glad I came here because if I would of stayed in Texas I would of gotten to meet the most amazing girl I've ever seen, and I would have such an amazing group of friends."
"Awe Lucas that's so sweet." I said "what's the thing you miss most about Texas" I asked
"Well I would have to says all the pets I use to have."
"That's so cool what type of pets did you have?"
"I had horses."
"I love horses there such beautiful creature" I told him
"Ya they are"
"So do you have any questions for me?" I asked
"Ya what's your favorite thing about New York"
"My favorite thing about New York is being with you and being your friend"
"Awe but what's you favorite thing besides me"
"Haha umm... I would have to say the sensory all the trees and nature it's just so pretty."
"Ya it is but not as pretty as you"
"Awe Lucas"
We finished our smoothies and he walked me home. We arrived at my apartment.
"This has been the most amazing date Lucas" I told him
"I'm glad you had fun"
"Goodnight Lucas"
"Goodnight"
I walk into my apartment with a faint smile on my face. I look inside and there Maya was standing there waiting for me.
"What are you doing here"
"Well how was it" she asked me
"It was amazing Lucas is so sweet"
"Good! Well goodnight"
