Hyoubo opened his eyes to the moonlight dripping down from the window onto the bed, sitting up in the bed, he looked over to his servant by his side. Crouched on the ground with an iron sword resting on her lap, her eyes glistening as she looked up towards him. He stood of from the bed, slipping on his shoes on the floor beside the bed, reaching for the door when Jeanne stopped him.
''Where are you going?'' asked Jeanne sternly, rising to her feet with the clacking of her decorative armour.
''I was thinking about what I would do, and the more I think about it the scarier it becomes. But I can't let myself cower inside this room, I came here to change,'' said Hyoubo. ''It sounds dumb, doesn't it?'' he added with a half-hearted laugh.
''There are servants that I cannot protect you from, will you still leave?'' she said sternly.
Hyoubo nodded in acceptance, as Jeanne vanished from sight as she adopted her spiritual form, he then left the room. Passing through the narrow hallway, he waved at the sleeping crone behind the booth and left the hotel into the streets of Las Vegas. The streets were cold and dark, music whispered on the wind from all around, the lights of the neon city beaming in the distance - piercing through the clouds, where lights now flashed up above.
The hotel was built in a residential area, nearby restaurants and shops were closed due at this time, forcing Hyoubo to timidly wander far into the tourist areas where Hyoubo first experienced the night life of Las Vegas. He had a good experience during the day, but at night is when all the monsters come out, but he was set on braving all of them.
People danced in the streets, music booming from nearby buildings but in front of him, a cafe was came into sight. People sat outside the cafe where at least 8 tables were waited on by staff, as people exited from a nearby underground concert that was only a block away. Several people rose out of the depths of the concert hall where the music began to dull, as people picked up their things and left for the night.
But then Jeanne whispered, ''There is a servant nearby'' and Hyoubo froze in place with fear. Visibly trembling as he forced his prana to pulsate through his circuits in anticipation, sensing the phantoms all around him when suddenly the mana flow stopped.
If his magic circuits were compared to an car, they would be modern sports car that was never finished. What few circuits he did possess were of incredible quality, treasures that many wished they possessed, but so few that simple stress would disrupt any form of magecraft.
Jeanne held onto Hyoubo's hand tightly, bringing him back to reality as she noticed, there were command seals everywhere. All around her she sensed powerful magecraft, an all-encompassing aura around them that brought her fear for his safety, and so, she pulled Hyoubo outside of the crowd and into a nearby alleyway.
Her armour manifested over her dark blue dress, the sword piercing like a spotlight through the darkness as it appeared in her hand. Suddenly, a Greek warrior wielding a bronze-tipped spear in hand shot down from the rooftops above. His upper torso covered in a scale armour with a light blue tunic, with a crimson-red cape fluttering behind him and a skirt of dangling leather, studded with metal.
Sparks flew in the air as her sword pushed the spear back, the warrior hopping against the wall when Saber flew at him, when he another one appeared in the narrow alleyway. Throwing his spear at her helpless Master who was now cowering, immediately she threw him onto of the roof with great force, letting the spear screech across her armour.
The one that threw the spear leapt up into the air, manifesting another spear in hand, as the other readied his spear, threatening to impale Hyoubo the moment she took her eyes of him. Her hands were tied, with no option but to use it she activated her noble phantasm.
