Prologue

New life is brought into this world everyday. Yet every time it is equally as exciting as the last. Out of chaos of the beautiful miracle of birth, a moment of silence breaks free followed by the wails of an infant child.

“It’s a girl.” A nurse says handing the newborn to the mother.

“Hi there, I’m your mommy.” The mother cooed.

The child reached out as her beautiful crystal blue eyes flickered back and forth aimlessly. Unabashed, the mother lifted her child up and asked the doctor in a cool, calm, motherly voice. “What’s wrong with her?”

The poor old doctor sighed and told the mother news that would break her very heart. It turned out that her newborn love was blind.

But insight of this unexpected problem, the young mother smiled and said.

“She is still perfect.”
