Viki ?! Why ?!

Lola pov

I woke up the next morning and Austins parents asked to have the kids today so I thought I would go and work with the horses. I was now 3 months pregnant and I didn't want to be riding risking my and my babies life for if I fall of. I got ready then headed to Austins parents to drop the kids of then I walked up the the stables and I decided to work with Shadow as we where growing a incredible bond. I got him on a lead rein and walked him to the paddock I began by putting him on the long rope to give i'm space I got him to go around me gradually getting faster until he was cantering. I then got some jumps out of the shed I started small then I got bigger and he was really good. I then went onto something harder and I would carry on this until I gave birth then I would ride again and I started some dressage then show jumping I was going to do some shows with him after my pregnancy but I would just train on the lead rein for now until I could ride I trusted Shadow its just I didn't know want to risk anything. As I was training I saw something from the corner of my eye and when I looked it was a pack of wolfs running from the woods up the hill. I shouted Shadow and when he looked I ran and let the horses out so they could run but instead Shadow was neighing and then all of the horses ran down the hill and he ran to me and bent down so I could get on. I only had a lead rein so I held onto his neck and mane he began galloping towards the house reared up and then Austin came he looked and changed to a wolf then went down the hill towards them. Shadow ran from the house to the top of the next field above it and stayed there with me on his back. It was a war zone, the horses had done alot and most of the wolfs where dead then when Austin went the last of them where gone in minutes. I was only 18 and this is my life i'm so glad Shadow was with me and I couldn't believe it why did that happen ? And what was it all about ? Once it was finished Shadow ran down to Austin and I jumped off Austin was hurt he was a wolf so he turned back into himself who I know him of a human then he groaned and held the side of his chest then I saw a wolf running to the woods I shouted Shadow and he galloped as fast as he could and he disappeared into the woods I shouted all of the other horses over and I put Austin on the other stallion and I took Austin to the house and then lead the horses to the stables but left the gate open for if they needed to get out and they couldn't get off of our property anyway.

Austin pov

I heard a loud noise outside the front of the house so I went out and it wad Shadow with Lola and she looked terrified I looked around and saw at the bottom of the hill there was the horses and what looked like a pack of wolfs so I changed form and rushed down then to help. The horses had done most of it I just helped finish a few off then a wolf came from no where and swiped me on my chest I backed off as I was bleeding then when the horses had finished Lola came down with Shadow and sent Shadow after the wolf as she saw it go into the woods. She put me on the other stallion and took me to the house. When she came back from taking the horses back she attended me.

Lola pov

I rushed home after to help Austin he had a gash on his left stomach area I cleaned it up and while I was helping and chatting to Austin he said ' Viki Viki Viki was the one ' ' Viki was the what ?' I replied ' Viki was the person / wolf who did this ' ' im sure Shadow has done us well then ' ' I hope so she was the leader and the one who swiped me ' I smiled and just focused on Austin when i was done I went out to find Shadow and he was no where to be seen.

Austin pov

After Lola helped me and I told her about it was Viki she went to find Shadow but he was no where to be seen. And he wasn't for the rest of the night.
