Scraped Knee

Another Day

Today was another day of filming. I was excited about filming today. Today was the day where the mess ups would come. Blooper time. Yesterday we tried not to mess up, now they better be ready to laugh. Plus it took us about a few days to redo some other scenes and fix up some stuff. The cast was expanded so we had some more people. Jennifer Lawrence was playing as Allison Carson, Jack's sister. I looked at the costume for today, it was a red sweater with dark jeans and brown boots. They did my makeup and I exited the trailer. Scarlett looked awful. She was wearing a blue sweater and white jeans and her makeup made it look like blood was dripping from her forehead. Chris was dressed in a grey t-shirt and jeans and brown hunting boots. Jennifer was wearing a red sweatshirt with jeans and her hair was pulled into a ponytail. She looked like a teenager.
"Hi you must be Aubrey" Jennifer said smiling.
"That's me. The one and only" I said smiling at her.
"Jeremy told me all about you" she said and I made a face at Jeremy who tried to keep himself from laughing.
"Awesome" I said as we went over the script. They'd be doing a scene where Allison and Jack have a conversation and she yells at Jack.
"ACTION!"
Allison glared at her older brother as he entered the dinner. He told Dylan to wait in the car. "You wanted to see me" Jack said sitting down in front of his little sister.
"Don't kill the kid" she said, "she's worth money."
"How much?" He asked.
"$10,000" she said.
"Yeah well I get 1 million for killing her" he said, "I'm doing it to save mom."
"I don't care about mom anymore. She confessed to murdering dad" Allison said.
"She had a reason to do that to him" Jack said drinking some coffee.
"I suggest a plan" Allison said as she gave her brother a note, "I wrote down the plan. Don't tell Dylan cause then she won't think it's real."
"Fine" Jack said getting out of his seat. He wouldn't listen to his annoying sister. He walked out and climbed back in the car and gave Dylan a cookie.
"Thanks" Dylan said bitting the cookie.
We started getting ready for the next scene. It's when Dylan finds out about Jack being paid to kill her.
They arrived at the motel and Dylan grabbed her bag. Cooper laid on the bed chewing on a bone Dylan had brought with her. "I'm taking a shower" Dylan said opened the bathroom door.
"Alright I'm gonna go see if there is a gas station" he said walking out. As soon as he left Dylan walked out of the bathroom and saw that he left his phone on the dresser. She picked up the phone and unlocked it. Her eyes widened when she saw the text messages from Brian. Tears formed in Dylan's eyes. She grabbed her bag and whistled at Cooper. Cooper jumped off the bed as Dylan opened the door a little bit just as Jack walked to his car and got in. When he turned she quickly but softly closed the door. Once the car started and drove to the nearest gas station, Dylan took off in a sprint toward the road with Cooper right behind her.
By the time Jack got back Dylan was about 6 miles away. Jack parked his car and walked to the room. He knocked once but got no answer. He knocked again but still nothing. He quickly unlocked the door and rushed inside to that she was gone and so was the dog. He saw his phone sitting on the table. He grabbed his phone and bag before rushing back to the car. He wasn't gonna lose 1 million dollars.
We set up the next scene. A bus stop. I had a black t-shirt on with jeans and a jacket tied around my waist. My hair was pulled back and I had brown combat boots on. I laid on the bench waiting for the director to yell Action. Max (the dog's real name) laid on the ground almost under the bench.
"ACTION!"
Jack noticed Dylan sleeping on a Bus Stop bench so he pulled over and got out of his car. He had a smirk on his face as he made his way over to her. Cooper laid under the bench. Jack glared at the dog before gently tapping Dylan's shoulder. He did it again but this time not as softly. Dylan woke up but at the sudden sight of Jack she punched him in the groin making him kneel down in pain. Dylan got up quickly and started running with Cooper right behind her. Jack quickly got up and ran after his target. He grabbed her arm but she quickly yanked it away and turned to face him.
"I can't believe you!" Dylan said, "You lied to me!"
"If you were being paid one million dollars to kill some teenager, would you do it?!" He asked loudly.
"No. No I wouldn't because I have a heart" Dylan said before turning around to walk away. Jack looked at the ground thinking about her words. He looked up to see her and Cooper walking away. With one swift movement Jack grabbed Dylan and swung her over his shoulder. She kicked him and hit his back.
"LET ME GO!" She yelled loudly as he carried her back over to the car. Cooper ran after them barking like crazy. Jack opened the trunk as Dylan kicked his knee. He laid her in the trunk before quickly closing the door. He open the back door and gestured for Cooper to climb in. Cooper climbed in and Jack climbed into the drivers seat. To Dylan he seemed like a villain.
Chris opened the trunk and helped me out. We both started laughing. We redid the scene a few times until we got a good one. Other times my voice cracked or I messed up on my line. One time Chris hit his head on the trunk and I laughed so hard. Max would run the other way instead of following us. Today was a fun day of filming. Tomorrow we'd get some time off.
