Earth, air, fire, water, light, shadow. The elements that support and run society. To obey the elements, to follow them and carry on life, is the normal choice. But some choose to control them. There were 6 that chose to. There names are forever unknown, as they changed their name to coincide with their element. Shadow controlled shadow, Air controlled air, and so on. The offspring of these men carry a recessive gene that can be passed on to their offspring; the gene giving them control over the element. It is unknown the number of people in the world who carry this recessive gene, worrying the few who know of the elements. Anyone with control over elements gain their powers on their thirteenth birthday. I, Alexis Schredner, am here to tell you the story of my life.
