Chaper 1

Who really is Levi?

(Y/N) pov

Me? I'm somewhat of a nerd, I don't have the best grades but they are decent. I have a small group of friends Mikasa, Eren, Armin, Jean, Marco, Sasha, and Connie.

I sat in my seat (second seat from the front) and gaze out the window. "Hey (y/n)" Sasha slid into the seat in front of me and put her elbows on my desk. "What?" I look away from the window and see her smiling "Do you have anything to eat?" I sigh and reach over into my bag and pull out a pack of pocky. Her eyes lit up and she snatched it from me and reached over and gave me a hug "Thank you" she sang. "No problem". She skipped happily back to her seat just as the bell rang. The teacher walked and and began our lecture. I watched him scribble equations on the board, absorbing the information. The classroom door opened and a guy with raven black hair walked in. His name is Levi, has a reputation of not showing up for class, ditching school and failing classes. He sat down in the seat in front of me and stares out the window. The teacher is used to him coming in late (that is of he shows up) so he just ignores him, same with most of the class.

The bell rings and I pick up my back and head out into the hallway. Next period art. Why does it have to be so early in the morning? I quickly slip into the art room and sit at my table. This class I again have class with Mr. Ackerman. I see him walk in the class just as the bell rings, and he sis down at a corner table in the back of the class. Mr. Adam our art teacher started explaining a new project we are going to be working on and I decide to tune him out. " "Miss (l/n)" I look up to find the teacher looking at me. "Yes sir?" I question. "I've asked you several times to stop spacing out during class." He put a red slip of paper in front of me. "Have fun in detention." I herd students giggle around me and I saw Levi scoff out of the corner of my eye.

The bell rang and I folded the red paper sloping it into my skirt pocket. I got up and started walking but a curtain someone bumped into me. "Watch where your going" I spat. "Tch" he walked off not saying anything else. "Jerk"

***Time Skip***

The bell for lunch rang. "Finally" I sighed. I grabbed my bag and headed straight for the cafeteria. The school had the best salad. Perfectly cooked chicken and fresh lettuce. I payed for my salad grabbed a fork and sat down next to Mikasa, cuz if I sat next to Sasha I would not have a lunch. "Salad again?" Jean asked. "Yeah greens are good for you horse face". "Will you stop calling me that? It annoys the eff out of me". I stoke my tongue out at him and pored my dressing onto my salad. I closed the lid and shook it up. I gave Sasha my bread stick the came with my salad and she devoured it. "Hey what's this?" Mikasa pulled the red slip out of my pocket. "Hey give it back". "What (y/n) got detention!?" Jean laughed. Eren snatched the paper from Mikasa and looked at it. "From Mr. Adam too". He started laughing too and I blushed and grabbed the paper back from him. "I was spacing out in class". I shoved a bite of salad in my mouth and ignored their laughing.

***Another Time Skip***
The final bell rang and it was time for detention. Glancing at the red slip it read 'room 709'. I pushed my way through the hallway and into the detention class room. I handed my slip to glaring teacher and sat in the desk closest to the door. When I was done here I wanted to get out as soon as possible. The door opened and the one and only Levi walked in. He handed the teacher a note and stood in front of the desk I was sitting in. "Move" is all he said. "No" I said plainly. "This is my desk". "Don't care" I looked up at him and glared. He gave up (which is surprising) and sat in the desk behind me. Another bell went off and the teacher got up " I will be in the teacher lounge. If your going to ditch be back before 2:50." She left and a few seconds later Levi got up and walked to the door. He stopped and looked at me, "Wanna come with?" I shrugged my shoulders "Sure why not". I swung my bag over my shoulder and followed him out the school. He walked over to part of the school that not many people come out to, so that means not getting caught by teachers. He sat down under a tree and I sat next to him. He pulled out a pack of cigarettes and put one in his mouth. "Want one?" He held out the pack and I hesitantly took one. He lit his and handed my the lighter. I cupped my hand around the end and flicked the lighter. The end burned and I took in a drag. I handed him back the lighter and blew the smoke out. "Didn't expect a girl like you to actually accept." He said and took in a drag. "Whatever. How did you even get these anyway?" "I'm eighteen idiot." "How was I supposed to know?" We smoked in silence for a bit and I put the butt out in the dirt. "So how old are you?" He asked, he turned and put his cigarette out in the same place as mine. "Seventeen." "Junior or Senior?" "Senior." I pulled out my phone and the time read '2:45' "Hey we should head back." He nodded in a agreement and we both headed back to the class room.
