Hopes and smokes (Levi x Reader)

Chapter 2

We arrived back at the class room and the teacher was siting at her desk. She herd us opens the door and looked up at us and then at her watch. "You guys made it, your dismissed". Levi turned around just as her herd her say dismissed and walked right out the door. "Wait!" I calls out to him. I felt guilty for being rude to him after art and I wanted to apologize. I ran over to him "I just wanted to say sorry". He looked at me with a confused expression "sorry for what?" "Being rude when you bumped into me after art." "Tch. Your the one who bumped into me." "Did not" I argued. "Whatever brat".

We got outside of the deserted school. He gave me a quick wave and headed off toward one of the last few lone cars in the parking lot. I tried to wave back at him but he already had his back turned towards me. I walked out the school and shivered slightly. "The weather is nice but why does the wind have to be so cold". I hugged my arms and headed in the direction of my apartment.

I walked up the stairs to the apartment complex, and I felt my phone vibrate in my skirt pocket. Pulling it out I saw a text form Sasha.

From: Sasha
Hey there's a party at Rachel's place tonight. Hope to see you there.

"She just wants me to be able to drive her back home". I slip the phone back into my pocket and shuffle around in my bag for my keys. "Here we go" I pull out my keys with a few charms hanging off the ring. I unlock my door and step into the warm room. "Oh thank god I left the heater on." I quickly closed the door behind me to keep the warmth from escaping. "A party? Sure why not."

I herd knocking at my door and I quickly gave myself a once over. I was wearing a plain black shirt and faded light blue jeans with rips in the knees and on the thigh. I wore black combat boots and a black leather coat. I walked over to the door and opened it. "You look nice" Sasha said and gave me a hug. "Thanks you look great too" Sasha was wearing a pale blue low cut top with a gray sweatshirt over it. and a black skirt with knee high leggings and black boots. "Come on we're running late" she grabbed my hand and ran out to her car. I didn't have my own car, I was saving up and debating on what type if car to get.

"Your not going to drink right?" Sasha asked as she pulled up to the curb and put the small car in park. "Probably not". "Ok so if you do just call up Mikasa, she will prob drive us home." "Sure". I opens my door and I could hear the music blasting. "This should be fun". Sasha was already at the door so I quickly caught up and stood behind her. The door opened ad some guy let us in. Sasha ran straight to the food and quickly slipped into the surprisingly quiet kitchen. I grabbed a empty cup and filled it with water from the sink. I'm not much of a social person so I just stood against the wall and said a few quick words to people who I knew, who wondered into the kitchen to grab a new beer. I refilled my cup and decided to step outside for a breather. I pushed my way through the mass of people and finally broke through at the back door. I quickly wet out and shut the door behind me and the sound of the music muffled slightly. I sighed and gulped down some water. "Tch" I look over to the source of the noise. "Great three times in one day". I rolled my eyes at Levi. "Whatever brat. Want a smoke?" I walked over to his extended arm and took one out if the pack. I put it between my lips and he reached over and lit it. I took and I drag and breathed out smoke. "Thanks." "Drinking too?" He asked. "Nope it's water, I'm designated driver tonight." He smirked and I put the joint to my lips. The back door opened and I turn my head to see who came out. "Hey Levi. Who's this?" A girl with orangeish hair walked over near Levi and gave me an annoyed glare. I blew out my smoke towards her and spoke, "my name is (y/n)". She waved the smoke away and gave me a glare. I saw Levi smirk and I put my cigarette back to my lips. "Whatever. Anyways Levi, Hanji is looking for you." "Tch, stupid glasses." He pushed himself off the wall and walked towards the sliding door. "Later." They both walked in and closed the door behind them. I took the last few puffs of cigarette left and put it out on the brick wall behind me. I decided to get Sasha before the neighbors decide to call the cops on the party, I I knew it would happen any minute now. I pushed through the crowd and spotted Sasha drinking with some guys. "Hey Sasha, time to go." I grabbed the drink from her and put it in the nearest persons hand. "Awwww but (y/n)" she wined. I grabbed on to her hand and pulled her through the crowd and out the door. I buckled her in the passenger seat and walked over to the driver side. I heard sirens in the distance so  I hopped into the car and drove off.

I dropped Sasha off at her place, making sure she got in safely. I drove  to my apartment and parked in the small lot next to my apartment complex. I locked the car and made the long trek to the other side of the building and up the stairs. As soon as I got inside I went straight to the bath. I came out from the seamy bathroom wrapped in a towel. I ran too my room so I could get into warm clothes, slipping on my sweats and baggy t-shirt. Jumping on my bed I covered my self in the warm blankets. I reached over grabbed my charging cord and plugged my phone in, I set it on the nightstand next to me then grabbed the remote switched on the tv. Some random show about vampires was on and I lost interest quickly and fell asleep.
