Hopes and smokes (Levi x Reader)

Chapter 7

I went back home later that day so I could catchup on my homework before I went to the party with Sasha.

I stood out on the terrace smoking a cigarette. I cool air seeping in through my open door. I took in a drag calming my nerves. Why did school have to be so stressful? I relaxed slumping against the railing. I blew the smoke up into the air watching it slowly disappear in the crisp air. I hear someone knock on my front door so I drop down and put out my butt on the concrete. I walk through my room to the front door and answer it.

I open the door and see a tall blonde guy was at the door. I immediately try to close it but I'm too late, he catches the door and re opens it. "(Y/n)!" I sigh and look at him. "What do you want Nick?" "I'm here to check on my little sister." "I don't need you to, your not my real brother". I walk in my living room and he follows after me. "I'm just making sure your okay living here." "Why? So you can go tell mom how good I doing here?" I say putting more emphasis the good. [AN: really me I spelt that right] "No, so I can make sure your doing good in school and are able to take care of yourself." "What ever I'm going to change". I slam my door behind me as I go to my room.

To: Sasha
My brother is here can you wait in the parking lot or out front for me? And text me when you get here.

Sasha
Sure no problem.

I change into clothes for the party. I put on slightly ripped black jeans and a baggy light gray shirt that hung over one shoulder. I step over to my vanity and apply light makeup and put on a maroon red lipstick. Rubbing my lips together I make a popping sound as I slip on my baggy plain black hoodie. I slip on my black ankle heals and head for the door. I'm about to walk out the room but I retreat back and grab my e-cig and cigarettes. I put my lighter in my shoe and the pack of cigarette tucked in the back of my jeans. I tuck the e-cig Between the middle of my bra and my skin. I grab a small hand bag and walk out the bedroom door.

I walk past Nick who decided to make himself at home and watch my tv. "What are you wearing?" I glare at him "Clothes" I grab my keys and plop them in my bag. My phone vibrates so I take it out of my pocket

Sasha
There's a car in your parking spot so I'm out front.

Oh yeah I forgot to tell her I got a new car. "Where are you going?" "Out" I walk to the door and open it but turn back before I walk out. "You have a hotel room right?" "Yeah why?" He questions. "Lock the door when you leave. I won't be home till late." He was about to talk but I cut him off when I closed the door. I walked out to Sasha's car and saw two other girls in the back so I slipped into the passenger seat. "Who are they?" I ask as I buckle my seatbelt. "The girl on the right is Lilly and the left is April" [AN if one of these are your name you can change it] The girl on the right had blonde hair with purple ombré on the bottom. And the girl directly behind me had a bob hair cut, she had brown hair with a red under layer. "Lilly said she could be out driver if you decide to drink." I look back at Lilly and she gives me a smile "Thanks I appreciate it." I pull the e-cig out of my shirt and put it in my hand bag. I pull the lighter out and plop it in too. Sasha glanced at me curiously and I took the pack out from behind me and opened it. "I didn't know you smoked" I shrugged my shoulder and held it out to her silently offering her one and she accepted. "You guys want one?" The both gladly accepted. I took out the last one in the pack and put it between my lips and lit it. I lit Sasha's and tossed the lighter to the girls in the back. "Hey can we make a stop by Pat's Pizza?" Sasha nodded and she concentrated on driving.

She pulled up and I hopped out. I walked into the smoke shop and up the the front desk. "Hey Mike" i gave him a smile. "What can I do for ya?" "Three packs please" I hold up three fingers. He walks to the glass case and unlocks it. He looks back at me and asks a question. "Is that all?" "Oh, so you have any cool lighters?" He smiles and me and places the packs in a bag. "Yeah we go these two new designs" He places two lighters on the counter. One had a starry sky and the other and beautiful sunset that reminded me of when we went to the abandoned city. I look back up to him. "I'll take both" he placed both of them in the bag and calculated the price. "Going to a party?" "Yeah my friends are giving me a lift." I pay him in cash and wave to him as I leave.

I slip back into the car and give Sasha a nod. "Do you know the guy there?" "Yeah a friend of mine introduced me to him". "Who?" "Her name is Hanji" "That chick who hangs out with that Levi guy?" "Yeah" "Are they the ones who..." "Yeah" I answered cutting her off. Sasha made a disapproving face and I ignored it.

Nicks POV

When (y/n) left I decided to search around the house. My mother, (y/n)'s adoptive mother wanted to make sure she wasn't getting into trouble and doing drugs. I started in the living room, searching anywhere she could have hid something. I then went to the kitchen but all I found there was a empty refrigerator. Her dining room had nothing hidden there and same with the bathroom and washroom. All that was left was her bedroom. I opened the door to her room. Her bed was unmade her vanity a mess, her clothes were everywhere and I couldn't tell what was clean and what was dirty. I walked to the balcony and opens the sliding door.  The cool air rushed in as I stepped out. I looked down and saw a cigarette butt on the concrete. I will have to ask her about this later. I exited her house making sure the door was locked and defended the stairs.
