Chapter 6: Meanwhile

        

Meanwhile as the newly created pack is assembled General Blitz sits in his office looking at a monitor of Aaron's pack. ''So what do you think of them Subject 3,' He asked a shadowy figure kneeling in the corner of the room to a cross on the wall. ''Death and blood shall follow this pack and we will be covered in that blood,' Subject 3 says while still kneeling as if it wasn't important. ''I don't even know why you pray to that thing, when you know that we're better,' Another teenager said while sitting in a dark blue chair. ''Subject 2, What this organization did will be judged for their godly deeds for God does not like pretenders,' Subject 3 told Subject 2 before standing to his feet. ''Alex.....Chloe, please use your names not your titles,' Blitz ordered while slamming his fist into the table. ''Yes, General,' they both responded in unison. Alex and Chloe were lovers. Alex was more holy and down to earth while Chloe was more of the superior race type.

They both were some of the first teens that were experimented on. ''What do you think of this Pack.... Chloe? Do you believe the same as your brother," Blitz says while looking toward her. Chloe had dark Brown hair and bright red eyes. Her skin was dark brown and seemed as if she could have been a model. "I think it's going to be fun, all of that blood and gore," She says while taking a deep breath. "Just makes me shake with excitement, I can just taste that future bloodshed," Chloe giggled before sitting on Blitz desk. ''Chloe get off the General's desk,' Alex demanded while walking over to her. ''Oohh, you know I love it when you boss me around,' Chloe giggled while jumping off the desk to hug Alex.

''Enough you two...,' Blitz says before turning toward the monitors. ''You have your assignment Chloe,' He says before Chloe nods in agreement and leaves the room, leaving only Alex and Blitz. ''This will be our last mission General....Chloe is pregnant and I do not want my children to be raised in a world filled with blood and despair,' Alex announces with determination. ''And where will you go.... Where will anyone except you like I have, you will be hunted down and killed. Your children's lives won't be as bloody but it will be a living Nightmare. You will be on the run for the rest of your lives..... Do you really want to take that chance?,' Blitz stated while still looking into the monitors as if the people on surveillance was more important than the conversation they were having. Alex knew in his heart that he has lost all hope in a happy family. ''Anything's better than this hell,' Alex says before leaving Blitz office. A few minutes later Alex walks outside of Purgatory and begins to fly through the night sky. He soon lands at an abandon church that was partially burned down a few years back. He enters to see a Half burnt Jesus statue on a cross. Alex kneels down in front of the cross and closes his eyes''O heavenly father, forgive me for I have sinned. I fear for my wife and children's lives. Please show me a sign to be able to protect them,' Alex says before images of the future washed over his mind leaving him in a state of shock. ''This can't be true......,' He says before standing up and leaving the ruined the church.
